Continuity mistake: When surrounded by police and a garbage truck, Frank drives his car from the overpass onto the passing transport trailer below, then lands behind a hatchback and in front of two cars - a white compact with a sunroof and a grey hatchback. In one specific shot from atop the trailer, as Frank rolls his window down (before he requests the gun) the only vehicle behind Frank's car is the white compact, which is at the trailer's rear. Note things such as the trailer's safety bars, and the view through the compact's windshield for starters. That grey hatchback is back when the ramp is lowered, for the ensuing crashes.
Continuity mistake: When Frank begins his revenge rampage on Wall Street's men, there's a close-up of Lai bound to the office chair with duct tape across her mouth and the slit Frank made earlier is gone, so at first it's to be presumed that it's a new piece of tape. However, when Lai pokes her head out from the back seat of the car Frank stole, there is a slit in the tape, but when he pulls her and the chair out onto the road the slit's gone, only to return again when Frank brings her to his house.

Plot hole: When Frank Martin steals the Mercedes, how does Lai manage to open the rear door, get in the back and hide - all with her hands bound behind an office chair? Not to mention actually closing the door and hiding herself (and the chair) in the rear footwell long enough for Frank to drive off and not notice her until they are out on the road.
Continuity mistake: After Lai is slapped by her father, when they all leave Frank leaps onto the side of the trailer with the container load. The side he leaps onto has no distinctive characteristics, but when he jumps off now there is a short lower horizontal rail below the gap in the wall's surface ridges. (Fullscreen DVD)
Continuity mistake: When the Transporter jumps from the plane to the truck, the plane is a few feet above the truck. When he jumps it cuts to a shot form inside the plane, but you can see that they are now really high in the air. A split second later they are back to a few feet above the truck.
Revealing mistake: On the transport trailer, Frank leans out his car window and dramatically fires at the ramp's tall lever control in a close-up, located at the rear of the transport over the tires. The problem is that the trailer has no such lever control, as seen in the previous shot before it drives under the bridge overpass.
Continuity mistake: When Frank's revenge at Wall Street's home is near an end, as Lai rolls the office chair toward the door her legs are bound to the chair base, and her hands are tied behind her back (not to the chair). When Frank finds Lai in the car, now the rope is only tied around her ankles when he removes her (and if that were the case she had no reason to hide in the car with the chair in the first place).
Continuity mistake: The style of the seat and headrests in Frank's car repeatedly changes, from the time he awaits the first transport in the garage, through all the following shots. In the opening shot of the car's interior, the bottom of the headrests are sandwiched between the raised sides of the backrests. When Frank drives out of the garage the backrests do no not have raised sides and the headrests are rounder.
Continuity mistake: When Frank is shown removing his spare wheel from the trunk of the car, it appears to be a standard BMW alloy wheel (from a 740 series I believe). Then, when he is first lifting his car with the jack, the car has the standard BMW alloy wheel already installed on it, yet in the next shot where he removes the wheel, it is his own aftermarket wheel that he is removing. He is then shown installing the standard alloy wheel.
Continuity mistake: The antenna/aerial mast located on the rear windshield/hood of Frank's BMW vanishes and reappears repeatedly. For instance, before the first shot of the two garbage collectors walking, in the closeup of the two AIC robbers in the back seat looking out through the back windshield (one screams) the antenna/aerial mast is gone.
Continuity mistake: When Frank jumps from the trailer with the container load he lands on the roof of a bus, passing under the overpass, whose number is 15 and has a large ad on its side, under the windows. When viewed from the front, the bus number is 21 and the ad has changed, though he hasn't changed busses.
Character mistake: At the end of film when the Chinese refugees are being unloaded from the lorry a policeman helps an injured man off, then goes back to help others. The injured man sits and then lies down. As he does, the policeman that helped him throws a bag without looking, which hits the injured man.
Continuity mistake: When Frank is being pursued by the blue police car, while transporting the three AIC robbers, the blue car's front license plate becomes lopsided to the right and then to the left, but when the car stops short at the traffic barrier the license plate is on properly.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film, Frank is visited by the police inspector. He has a visible though muted scab on his right temple. It was not there before this scene, and goes away afterward. The scenes were shot out of sequence. Later in the film during the fight on the bus/depot, he gets hit at the right temple and blood is drawn. Normally the blood would seem to just be there for effect, but due to the scab shown earlier in the film, he must have really been hit pretty good.
Continuity mistake: During the first chase, when Frank is trapped between the police cars and garbage truck he screeches his tires for a long time. When he is flying off the bridge about to land on the car carrier transport, you see the rubber on his upper and lower left tires are completely gone, but when Frank lands all tires are good as new.
Revealing mistake: After his car explodes, Frank exacts revenge on Wall Street's men. With the last one he takes out, before he fires the man's gun at the walls, he leaps into the air, flips, kicks the man back and then lands. The Asian stuntman, who has more hair than Frank and wears shoes with tread detail, unlike Frank, is too obvious.
Revealing mistake: As Frank is about to be shot in the warehouse, he pulls the giant thug in front of him as a body shield. They both fall back through the window and hit the water. As they do, we see the back of Frank's hair, which is something of a shag style. It is far from being Jason Statham, as throughout the film his buzz cut is almost to the point of him being bald.
Factual error: To start his first mission, Frank has an alarm set on his watch. The watch he is wearing is an Officine Panerai. This brand makes only mechanical watches. But what is heard going off is an alarm on a quartz watch. (The only Panerai with a mechanical alarm looks completely different.)
Revealing mistake: As Frank is about to be shot in the warehouse, he pulls the Giant Thug in front of him as a body shield. They both fall back through the window and hit the water. Since an oil drum is thrown on the water then shot to light the water ablaze, Frank needs more oxygen. He goes to the Giant Thug to extract some from his lungs. Right before they cut to close-up, you see the Thug is a painfully obvious, stiff-armed dummy.
Factual error: In the first chase scene, when the Transporter jumps his car off the bridge, over the railing, and on top of the moving transport, it would be impossible for his car to gain enough speed to get its front end up so high and get over the railing the way it did, just by driving over the sidewalk edge.
Factual error: When Frank and the dead thug are underwater, with the bad guys firing at them after the oil-fight, if you look, you can see that the bullets from the guns are shooting straight down through the water. Most modern guns (including the ones the bad guys are using) are so powerful, that the bullets shatter upon hitting water, so the bullets we see whizzing about underwater are not real.
Visible crew/equipment: In the initial chase scene just after the shot where you see the two police vehicles following the BMW into a narrow lane there is a head on shot of the BMW, all throughout this shot you can see the side/brake lights of the camera car reflected in the driver's side headlight, and the grill when the BMW is really close.
Factual error: Frank hotwires the S class Mercedes and steals it. First mistake is to believe that you can simply hotwire an S class Mercedes, you can't, because it has a special ignition key that sends a signal to the ECU. No key, no engine start, no matter how many wires you splice. Secondly, exactly when did Frank break the steering lock? After he starts the car, the camera shot then shows him driving off.
Character mistake: Inspector Tarconi refers to Frank's car as a BMW 765, yet later Frank refers to it as a BMW 735. In the E38 style BMW 7 series, there are 728, 730, 735, 740, and 750 models. Only the 740 and 750 sold new in North America and all the models sold in Europe. The 740 and 750 are almost never seen in Europe for fuel reasons. There is no such car as a BMW 765, in any body series.
Continuity mistake: When the plane with Frank in it swoops low over the convoy and then regains height, the convoy is seen to be at a particular point on the road. After Frank jumps out with the paraglider and catches up with the convoy, it is at the *exact same spot* on the road, despite having driven on in the intervening shot.
Factual error: When Frank dives off the container and goes feet first into the lorry cab his body isn't long enough to do this as he is holding the grab handles on the front of the container, even if he let go he couldn't make it his feet would just reach then he would fall backwards into the road. The lorry cab is too big to achieve this.
Revealing mistake: When Frank's discarded paraglider has blocked the windscreen of the car, causing the collision, the stopped car explodes slightly *before* the actual collision (this is just noticeable even at normal speed) and the explosion is visible in stop-motion as originating inside the car (visible through windscreen) as opposed to the gas tank.
Continuity mistake: During the 1st chase when camera is showing how Frank's hand is shifting gears, there's one shot of the bank robber's hand getting hit with the gearstick while Frank is shifting. Next shot shows all bank robbers in the car with visible hands. No one is that quick to move his hands so fast.
Continuity mistake: When Frank is on the way to the bank, he stops at an intersection and a couple of people cross. On the right side of his car (as on the screen), that part of the lane is empty. Then there is a shot of Frank inside the car and you can see cops in their patrol car next to him, while in previous shot there was nobody there.
