Question: When we first see Goldmember, he comes out and says, "Hi everybody, I am from Holland. Isn't that weird?" What is so weird about him being from Holland?

Answer: Name one supervillain, from any spy movie, who has come from Holland. Then you get the joke.

Question: At the end of the second film, Felicity went to the future with Austin. When this film starts she's nowhere in sight for the whole movie. Whatever happened to her?

Answer: An original cut featured the opening scene with Heather Graham in it (I'm not sure what happens) - I'm assuming they dropped that idea when they could get hold of all the cameo stars. Hopefully it'll surface on the DVD.

Reportedly she left Austin because he couldn't get over Vanessa.

Answer: Remember that there were 2 Austins at the end of the second film, thus she likely ended up with one of them, while the other Austin went in a different direction.

Question: Bit of a silly question, but what happened to Felicity Shagwell? She appears to have disappeared after the Spy Who Shagged Me, did Austin just forget about her?

Answer: Felicity Shagwell was originally in the beginning of Austin Powers in Goldmember, but her scene was cut from the final film and has not appeared on any DVD releases. Because of that we do not actually know the reason why she decided to leave Austin.

Answer: There were 2 Austins at the end of the 2nd film, that being said past Austin stayed with her and the other Austin left to the future to fight against Dr. Evil.

Answer: Just like most Bond Girls, she was swept aside in favor of a new love interest in the sequel. Had they made a fourth movie, they likely would not have brought Beyonce back either.

Question: I don't get this: When Nigel Powers is first taken to the submarine, at one point he looks down, sees Mini Me and says "I thought I smelt cabbage." What's that all about?

Answer: In the first Austin Powers when he is talking about his two fears, one of them was carnies. He then said they have small hands and smell like cabbage. Most likely then Mini-Me reminded him of a carny.

Lummie

Answer: I thought cabbage patch kid.

Question: Is the skin-peeling that Goldmember does a reference to something or is it just a running gag?

Answer: It is meant to be just a gross joke.

Answer: I think this is just a joke about how fair skinned Dutch folks are, i.e. they burn/peel easily. And very gross, yes.

Continuity mistake: When Fook Mi and Fook Yu are standing with their backs to Austin, they start laughing. In the next scene which is about a second later, they are facing Austin.
