Revealing mistake: Just after Mr. Creosote explodes and all of the guests are vomiting, there is one male guest third from the front that is puking. Though his hand is up near his mouth, it is clear that the puke actually comes from his hand rather than his mouth, revealing that he is holding something that produces the fake vomit.
Continuity mistake: At the end when everyone is in the dining room in heaven, Mr and Mrs Brown (The Liver Donaters)are sitting at a table in the foreground. The dinner guests walk down the steps and the camera angle changes. You can see that a different man is sitting opposite Mrs Brown where Mr Brown should be.
Audio problem: In the "Every Sperm is Sacred" song, when the priest and the newlyweds sing, the woman's mouth stops, but her voice is still heard.
Continuity mistake: During the "Crimson Permanent Assurance" short film at the start, watch when the old men are climbing out of the windows on to the scaffolding. One of the men drops his sword as he goes out the window, but when the scene switches to the outside view of the same man climbing out, he is holding it in his hand.
Visible crew/equipment: During the "Find the Fish" scene, during one close up, a camera is very visible in the top right corner of the screen.
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where the insane sergeant lets all his squad off to see a film at the cinema etc, the microphones are visible under their tight tops. Look at the middle of the chest of anyone who is talking, and there's a lump there, yet it is not there on any of the none-talking soldiers (so it can't be part of the uniform).Gary O'Reilly
Continuity mistake: During the scene at the end where the Grim Reaper comes to take away the dinner guests, Eric Idle leads the reaper into the room. Graham Chapman is walking behind Michael Palin sitting down. When the camera cuts to Michael, Graham is nowhere to be seen. Then when the camera cuts back, he is standing there again.
Revealing mistake: During the sperm song in the "Miracle of Birth part II" there is one shot where the kids are dancing down the street. Watch the girl at the front on the left. She hesitates and then runs to catch up to the front line. Then when they go round the corner, she has to be moved along by the other kids as she stops to stare at the camera.
Continuity mistake: The third time that Mr. Creosote vomits - watch the table behind him that Graham Chapman is sitting at. They all change positions slightly during the next shot of them. This is most noticeable on the man sitting nearest the camera. In the first shot, he is holding a napkin, in the second shot he isn't.
Revealing mistake: Near the beginning of the 'Crimson Permanent Assurance' sketch one of the guys running out in panic quite badly clamps his fingers in the door yet it doesn't appear he really hurt himself much.
Continuity mistake: When the search party are walking through the forest, two Zulu POWs are carrying the injured man's bed at the front, and a guard and the doctor are carrying it at the back. When they come into the clearing, the Zulus are nowhere to be seen and the doctor and the guard are at the front. Whats more, when they start shooting at the "Tiger" the doctor pulls out a gun and starts firing.
Continuity mistake: in the creosote scene after the cleaning woman comes in and creosote vomits over her back the first time Eric Idle walks away with the fresh bucket brought over for creosote then the camera changes not only has the cleaning woman moved 1-2 meters over and changed directions but the bucket has appeared where she was and has filled.
Audio problem: The young soloist during the "Every Sperm is Sacred" song is missing her two front teeth, but articulates perfectly, even the s's. It's obviously been dubbed.
