Corrected entry: In the game against the Bucs where Nuke is having a great game and hits the Bull, he blows off Crash's call for a fastball. Crash stands up and says "Charlie, here comes the deuce," but when the P.A. announcer says the player's name, she says "Jimmy."

Correction: "Charlie" is a commonly used generic name in baseball.

I noticed that too, and it bugged me because he spoke to him familiarly as if he was a buddy. I suppose he may have just been calling him "Charlie" in the same sense that someone might call someone whose name they don't know "Buddy" or "Mac." But it didn't feel that way.

Factual error: In the opening narration, Annie Savoy states, "...there are 108 beads in a Catholic rosary and there are 108 stitches in a baseball." While it's true that a baseball has 108 stitches, there are only 59 beads in a Catholic rosary.

Skip: Don't take this the wrong way Millie, but if I catch you in here again I'll ban you from the ballpark.
Millie: You can't ban me from the ballpark because my daddy donated the scoreboard.
Skip: What do we need a scoreboard for? We haven't scored any runs all season.
