Continuity mistake: After Capt. Hook drops Jane into the water and Pan dives in to save her from the octopus, he begins to gloat. Looking at his scabbard there is no sword because he threw it at the mast to cut the rope. Next thing you know, the sword is back in the scabbard.

Continuity mistake: In the first movie Captain Hook totally blew up hangman's tree, the Lost Boys' and Peter Pan's hideout. But in this movie, the tree is exactly how it was before- even the same items inside.

Continuity mistake: When Wendy tells the story about the fight between Peter Pan and Captain Hook, they were sword fighting on the sails. After Tinkerbell covers the pirate ship with pixie dust, all of a sudden Captain Hook is standing on the deck of the ship.

Continuity mistake: During Wendy's story, Peter loses grip of his dagger and then, later on, it's back in its sheath.

Continuity mistake: After Peter Pan threw his dagger to cut the rope, the dagger is suddenly back in its sheath in the next shot in less than a few seconds.

Continuity mistake: When Wendy tells the story about the final fight from the first film, it is told differently to what happened. In Wendy's version, Peter never pulled the Jolly Roger flag over Captain Hook and wrapped him in it, and Captain Hook was never shown being chased away by the crocodile. Plus, Tinkerbell made the pirate ship fly with Hook still on board, but in the first film, Tinkerbell didn't make the pirate ship fly until after Hook was chased away by the crocodile.

Jane: Don't you see, Hook? You will never win. Not as long as there's faith, trust, and pixie dust.
