Continuity mistake: The Beechcraft Baron strikes the 747 from the front. This comes after Air Traffic Control has told the Baron's pilot that he is "Number two for landing behind a heavy jet." Even allowing for the Baron's pilot's discomfort & disorientation due to a heart attack, how does the small plane get turned around 180 degrees and on a collision course?
Suggested correction: Being number two does not necessarily mean you are directly behind the aircraft you are following. You can be #2 and be in a different position in the pattern for approach.
Continuity mistake: As Murdock is being lowered toward the 747 there's a shot with a POV looking at the Plane's nose from some distance. It's an FX shot, a traveling matte of the actor with a large piece of airplane against a blue screen. The foreground & background elements don't match very well. The distant landscape below is moving linearly in one direction and the aircraft is pointing in quite another.
Suggested correction: That's not necessarily a mistake because of wind drift albeit it's a little exaggerated.
