Trivia: After Karen takes Michael's mask, if you listen closely, Michael says to her, "Give it back."

Suggested correction: This is just an out of control fan-theory and has absolutely no confirmation anywhere, and it honestly sounds more like a mixture of Allison crying and the ambient noise of the scene than a male voice speaking or whispering. Unless the director comes right out and confirms that they very quietly looped in Michael speaking (which he hasn't), it's not something that should be listed as confirmed trivia.

Trivia: The film was released in theaters and on the streaming platform Peacock simultaneously. This is because producer Jason Blum's previous 2020 film "Freaky" underperformed at the box office due to extreme COVID-19 restrictions. Blum felt that releasing it both in theaters and on Peacock would allow fans who couldn't go to the theater the chance to see it. The decision was met with some backlash from the industry. Thankfully, the film still performed well in theaters, grossing over $100 million.

Plot hole: Tommy leads the mob after the 2nd escaped patient, thinking it's Michael, but Tommy should have known it wasn't Michael. He saw the patient on the TV at the bar at the beginning of the film.

Question: Why does Michael head back to his old house and why does Karen go inside it by herself?

Rob245

Answer: It was his own personal man cave, he was born and raised there. It was the only place he felt safe and secure. In just about every "Halloween" film he always returned to his home. It belonged to him. I personally believe Karen went there to get a feel for the place, trying to make sense of everything. Why does a normal kid turn into a ruthless killing machine, was it just him or was it the house itself.
