Continuity mistake: In the shot where the Roses are hanging in the chandelier, Kathleen Turner goes from being barefoot to having some type of shoe on and then back to barefoot.
Continuity mistake: In one shot, the small Asian figurine that Oliver tricks Barbara with is tied and knotted with string, but in the next quick shot, the string is gone.
Revealing mistake: In the shot where Barbara is cartwheeling down the stairs after Oliver wrestles the ornament from her in the previous shot, the stairs have become totally flat like a ramp.
Continuity mistake: After Oliver extinguishes the tree fire, Barbara moves to walk past him, and the smoke is hovering just below knee level. The next shot changes to a rear view of her, and there is no smoke in the air at all.
Continuity mistake: During the whole chandelier scene, it is blatantly dark outside (nighttime). It cuts to Gavin and Susan carrying the ladder in bright daylight, then back to the inside of the house where it is dark again.
Continuity mistake: When Gavin is going through his large bookcase in his library, Oliver sits at a desk which has a children's book near the corner. Immediately after the shot of Gavin saying "aha", the children's book has moved about a foot forward.
Continuity mistake: When Oliver is peeing on the soup, the length and position of the kitchen paper roll changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: After Barbara throws food to the dog, she puts some on her hand for the cat to lick it. The distance of her hand to the cat's mouth changes drastically between one shot and the other.
Visible crew/equipment: When Barbara drives her car towards the Morgan and makes a 180ยบ turn, the wide angle shows that she has been replaced by a stunt woman.
Revealing mistake: When Barbara is smashing the car, her SUV is standing on a very obvious ramp covered with grass.
Continuity mistake: When Oliver shows the blueprint with red, yellow and green areas, his left hand swaps from being lowered to being on top of the blueprint.
Continuity mistake: The first time we see the Roses's daughter, the amount of empty space on the right of the table keeps increasing and decreasing depending on the angle.
Continuity mistake: When Gavin is doing a foot massage to a woman under the dinner table, the fork on his plate keeps changing positions depending on the angle.
Continuity mistake: When Oliver climbs onto the chandelier, the metal bar falls to the floor and lands to the far left. In the following aerial angle the bar has moved closer to the center part of the floor.
