Other mistake: Zorin supposedly falls from the top of a pillar of the Golden Gate Bridge, however 2 seconds after falling he is below the road. This is not possible as the drop is too great. Even taking into account of Zorin accelerating.

Other mistake: During the mine scene, we see Stacy Sutton in very tight miners overalls, then Mayday rips them off to the white dress she was wearing beforehand. There was not enough room in those tight overalls to hike up or bunch the skirt in any way for her to move her legs, or for her to have both legs in both pant legs.

Other mistake: Stacey says to Bond that the jar she throws on one of the men that attacked her house contained the ashes of her grandfather. There's actually nothing in the jar.

Other mistake: When Bond is blowing air out of a tire underwater to signal Zorin that he is dead there is a stem that must be depressed to let air out which would be impossible to do that with your mouth over the valve. Obviously Bond would have drowned.

When Scarpine knocks out Bond, he pushes him into the back of the Rolls Royce and he lies on his back unconscious next to Tibbett. However, when Zorin and May Day drive the Rolls Royce to the river, the 'unconscious' Bond has now managed to sit himself up on his seat.

Trivia

The disclaimer, "Neither the name Zorin nor any other name or character in this film is meant to portray a real company or actual person" was added after the producers discovered a real company known as Zoran Ladicorbic Ltd, whose industry was fashion design. This is the first Bond film to begin with a disclaimer.
