Daphne & Velma

Other mistake: Daphne's dad drops the Legitimate Tulip badge in front of her so she'll avoid getting hurt, but when we see him do that, he does it before the warning for the ball is heard and seemingly not looking at the danger (especially in the second shot, when he is peeking from the corner). So his action makes no sense. (00:16:55)

Continuity mistake: Daphne has just set food inside Ridge Valley High. "This is incredible, she says", and at the cut there's a couple of students who are engaged in some animated conversation. But one of the two (dark skinned guy with tan pants and a denim jacket) appears in the shots before and after that one, and he is walking solo. (00:07:15)

Continuity mistake: In the ending, Griffin and the others are contemplating the main hall screen being unplugged and talk about life. Ryder tells him "You're number one in our book", with behind him a couple jocks walking down the hall with a football. The chat goes on and on, those two pass behind them few seconds later as they do their hand waving thingy, but are still approaching in the next shot. (01:09:20)

Plot hole: During the presentation of Bloom Innovative's pizza printer, the villain who pulls the strings of the whole operation (and controls Bloom) is in the audience. Since Bloom at the end of the movie is not depicted as a sophisticated AI but just a holographic projection, it appears impossible that he could do his stage performance and interact (verbally at least) with principal and audience. (00:33:20)

Continuity mistake: Aunt Piper comes back into her office when the conflict has been resolved; Arden Myrin holds the blue ball bot with her hands positioned differently between shots (for instance, when she mentions "Cheyenne, Wyoming" her left hand that she just positioned below the ball in the previous shot, is at the side of it. (00:28:45)

Continuity mistake: When Velma serves the goopy yellowness to the three Slitherin knockoffs, many continuity issues arise; the quantity of material is different in the close-up, and later varies again. Also, Mike takes his portion, but there's one in front of him right at the cut. Actually, he took Griffin's portion, but Griffin has one right in front of himself again, appeared between shots. On top of all that, the same extra (nerdy glasses and light grey sweater) walks behind the trio starting when Griffin calls himself 'new leader' and resuming several seconds later ("You mean because he tanked"), still at the same exact spot as before. Daphne & Velma mistake picture

Continuity mistake: The scene with Daphne and Velma trying to talk some sense into Carol about the Spencer issue begins with Daphne close to the gap between two tables (look at the shot that precedes the moment when Velma clears her throat), and seemingly no space for anyone to join on Carol's left. When Mikayla joins she finds a lot of space though, and no wonder; from a wider angle it's obvious that now it's an entirely different table. (00:29:20)

Other mistake: For some reason, getting to school Velma does not simply fail to change path for anyone in her way, but actually, deliberately, gets in the way. During that sequence, she ends up bumping a girl with a muffin, and stomping on it. But the girl with the muffin was already in the same spot (just past a couple who is chatting) well before, when Velma moved between other two chatters, with a guy on a scooter changing course. (00:06:15)

Continuity mistake: Daphne talks to Carol about her dad being her clothing closet and she helps her with the technological T-shirt. Throughout the scene you can see the same extras being recycled doing a meaningless back and forth, and bearing some inconsistencies. For instance when we see her hand the shirt, and when a few seconds later after she messes with the phone the color swatch HUD pop up, the same guy with a beanie hat walk in twice. (00:20:50 - 00:21:30)

Continuity mistake: When the Conflict Couch's "extreme mode" is activated, its armrests slide closer to both Daphne and Velma. They move independently from the blocks forming the back. However, when Aunt Piper grabs the Timothy Bot ball saying "Hang in there", the armrest block close to Daphne is perfectly aligned with the back of the couch. (00:26:15)

Other mistake: Daphne and Velma ruin Mikayla's exhibition that is set to begin at 4 PM, so they must be in the corridors way before that time (when they poke out of the locker secret door from the inside, the hallway clock does in fact point 5 minutes to 4). They get then chased by the ghost and find the secret lab. When they come out of it to prepare for their Bloom mission, they pass in front of the principal's hall as one of their first actions, and it's a quarter past 7 (or 6). There's really no way they spent over two or three hours doing all that - not to mention that during the call with the mom she says she was tired and wants to finish the work tonight, which is something certainly possible to say mid-afternoon but more likely at an hour when it is dark outside like the one shown in the film finale, and Velma picks up the a drone that is snoring in a rather dark room, making even more obvious how the time seem to have gone by in a blink. (00:51:35 - 00:58:17)

Continuity mistake: Daphne just met Spencer and Mikayla. In this scene, multiple continuity errors occur, practically at every shot For instance, the two girls close to the glass cabinet change position, and in the first shot ("Wait, your mom invented MatchMouth?") a tall girl and a boy with an afro walk by, disappear, popping by just before a new cut, when they disappear again, reappear, etc. (00:08:20)

Revealing mistake: Daphne during breakfast opens a book about Saturn. The book is an obvious movie prop (the name of the author, "Cassie Miggins", is the name of the actual prop master of the movie), where the 'obvious' part is the fact that the page Daphne reads in close-up differs from quality and even paper weight from the rest of the tome, looking more like a poor laser print or photocopy in B&W glued to the page. It even has two mistakes in the first line!"This planets most impressive feature is it's ring system" (00:05:50)

Continuity mistake: A sad Daphne stands from her bed and says "I guess I'm just on my own now." She sits at the computer, and in the very first shot her ambiguously shaped Hitachi microphone thingy is lying on the desk, in front of her yellow notebook. Close-up, and she fetches it right from on top of the notebook. (00:18:55)

Other mistake: It is revealed - well, spoiler! - that the one of the characters is a hologram. The problem with that is, the immaterial hologram (he is presented as such), has had a few interactions with objects. In the scene at school the principal did not touch him, making it plausible, but then he ate a piece of pizza, which should have been holo-pizza. Assuming it is possible (it's all his own tech after all) in the very final scene he has more. One could say that the chair he initially sat on turned on its own and so it is automated, but he actively flips a switch on his desk, and he sits on a different office chair, making it also wobble under his weight. It should be noted that Daphne spots the fact that he is a hologram by pointing to the projector for it, but there was never any light beam like that before (would have been super-obvious in the theater scene earlier) and Bloom always cast normal shadows. (00:33:15 - 01:02:50)

Daphne & Velma mistake picture

Continuity mistake: Velma places the robot engine below the locker's lock. In close-up the wires at the top of the mechanism stick out in a curve ending up on the same level of the lock's bottom, but in wider shots that follow they are instead folded down. Of course it's just a minute detail when you consider that in other shots the engine is instead at the SIDE of the lock. (00:35:30)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Daphne bends over to pick up the badge, two guys are crossing the screen moving left to right; one of them is a dude with a maroon vest and a green plaid shirt, the other one has a maroon sweater. When the chat about Daphne's lucky moment is over, they both walk in opposite direction in separate shots. A girl with purple clothes is also recycled, peeking in frame when Velma is briefly shown, and then in the same frame as Green Shirt Guy. (00:07:00)

Sammo

Plot hole: Bloom Innovative is depicted as an incredibly famous cutting-edge tech company with a massive social network presence. It is unforeseeable that its charismatic owner and public face would have been for years a hologram whose likeness is modeled after "the most famous male model in Japan" (let's forget the fact that it's pretty unlikely that'd be a white dude), not exactly a secluded country with no attention to media and tech. Later when they talk with the real villain, Velma in fact refers to him as "an obscure model", which would make much more sense plot-wise (but then Daphne couldn't have recognized him at first glance). (01:05:45)

Sammo

Other mistake: Velma has to climb to the top of the Bloom Bracket. When the chart is shown before the montage, a girl called "Kristina Davies" (blonde with short hair) is in second place behind Mikayla Martin. Once the bracket is shown after the glue prank during track and field, Velma is climbing above a Kristina Davies who is in 148th position, and has the profile photo of a dark haired girl with long curly hair. When she climbs above number 88, the same name is at the top of the screen. How many Kristina Davies could there be in that school? (00:48:05 - 00:48:45)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Daphne and Velma's lab coat is a complete mess in the last shot of their fight, all of a sudden, and it's much less messy when they visit the principal (theoretically they could have changed coats offscreen, but then why showing up in the office with the dirty lab coat to begin with?). (00:24:10)
