Trivia: Kelly Sue Deconnick, notable writer of Captain Marvel comics, makes a cameo on the train where Vers is looking for the Skrulls.
Trivia: Chris Evans' appearance in this film's post-credit sequence marks the tenth time he has portrayed Captain America, surpassing Hugh Jackman for the record of playing the same comic book character in the most films. Evans would add on to his own record a few weeks later by appearing in Avengers: Endgame (Samuel L. Jackson later eclipsed this record). He also appeared in at least one MCU film every year between 2011 and 2019.
Trivia: A few months after Brie Larson was cast, issue #12 of Spider-Man/Deadpool depicted a scene in which Deadpool gives Carol Danvers a DVD copy of the infamous film The Room, with Danvers stating she actually wanted Room, the film for which Brie Larson won the Best Actress Oscar.
Trivia: During Carol Danvers' outfit color change, one of her outfits turns white and green. This is an homage to Mar-Vell's original uniform color scheme. There is also a red and yellow combination seen, which could be a reference to the DC character Shazam, who has also been known by the name Captain Marvel.
Suggested correction: We do not know that they were stranded on the station. They would have had to eat after Mar-Vell's sudden death. She could have had contingency plans in place to help them survive or others could have helped.
