1922 is a horror drama by Stephen King involving a man and son who kill his wife and the horrible results of that murder. It has a bit of a slow burn as it explains the insidious backstory but rats, the winter's cold and some grisly dead things start to remind the farmer of his terrible deed. It stars Thomas Jane as a conniving and tortured Wilfred Leland James, Dylan Schmid as his son, Henry, and Molly Parker as wife, Arlette. One of the scarier of King's films to date.

Factual error: The black leather chair of the Home trust banker is more modern than the movie setting in 1922. (00:59:35)

Henry James: I can't pray now, or ever again. I think if I got down on my knees God would strike me dead. I hope there is no god. I imagine all murderers hope there isn't, because if there's no heaven, then there's no hell.
