Continuity mistake: When Pluto rescues Dinah from the pond, he initially puts her on the gravel. In the next shot, Dinah is now on the grass.

Continuity mistake: When Pluto is at a tree, he digs up a hole to retrieve a bone for Dinah. When we see the tree later on in the cartoon, the hole that Pluto dug up is nowhere to be seen.

Continuity mistake: The bin where Pluto puts the pieces of his broken heart was not on the pavement when he went out and retrieved the bone for Dinah.

Continuity mistake: When Dinah hears Butch growling, she drops the bone on the grass. But Pluto runs out of the yard and into the street, the bone is now on the pavement.

Continuity mistake: When Pluto has the hose in his mouth and water comes out of his ears, there is a tree behind him. The tree disappears in the next shot, and a couple of shots later, it is back again.

Continuity mistake: Before Dinah the Dachshund enters her home, the door flap is open. In the next shot, it is closed.

Continuity mistake: When Dinah hears Butch growling, she drops the bone on the grass. But Pluto runs out of the yard and into the street, the bone is now on the pavement.
