Continuity mistake: In the segment "The Whale Who Wanted To Sing At The Met," the opera director has a book opened to a picture captioned "Johna and the whale." When a close-up is shown, the caption is spelled correctly as "Jonah and the whale."
Other mistake: In the "Peter and The Wolf" segment, Sasha the bird has a flesh-colored head. When he puts on his black cossack hat, the flesh areas of his cheeks and the flesh area between his eyes instantly turn black.
Continuity mistake: Flynn hits a line drive and a fielder makes a diving catch. The ball lands in the glove on his left hand. In the close-up, the glove has disappeared and the ball is in his bare hand.
Character mistake: In the "Casey At The Bat" sequence, the narrator says "The score is 4 to 2 with but an inning left to play." However, the scoreboard shows that eight and a half innings have been played, and only a half-inning remains.
Continuity mistake: During the Benny Goodman "All The Cats Join In" segment, a teenaged girl gets out of the shower and hops into her underpants and skirt. Suddenly her feet are clad in white socks which were not there before.
