Continuity mistake: When Lee escapes Carter on the tour bus, he gets in a crown Victoria taxi cab. When Carter is chasing him it changes to a Chevy Caprice taxi cab, and changes back when Carter stops it.

Visible crew/equipment: When Carter and Lee are at the police station trying to figure out what it is that Sang drops. Johnson pushes the protective glass into Carter and in the reflection, you can see 2 people, presumably crew members. (00:48:06)

Visible crew/equipment: When the bomb explodes in the building, you see the camera crew by the building across the street.

Visible crew/equipment: After Han's daughter has been kidnapped, and he is back at home speaking to the FBI, immediately after the agent says "I know this is a difficult time for you but we're going to get your daughter back" you can see a boom microphone above their heads. (00:12:39)

Suggested correction: I've re-watched this part several times on HBO Max. There is nothing visible above their heads at the 12:39 minute mark. There is a shadow on the wall that is boom mic shaped; however, it would be pure speculation to what it is since it is very briefly and no equipment is ever shown.

Originally when I posted this mistake I added that I saw it specifically on the Netflix version. This was not included for some reason when it was uploaded. Watch the Netflix version and it's there.

Captain Diel: Two officers were shot, one man lost a pinkie.
Carter: But didn't nobody die.
Captain Diel: You destroyed half a city block.
Carter: That block was already messed up.
Captain Diel: And you lost a lot of evidence.
Carter: We still got a little bit left.

Trivia: "Rush Hour" is credited for being the inspiration behind the popular (and polarizing) website "Rotten Tomatoes" in 1998. Creator Senh Duong was a massive Jackie Chan fan and began to collect the reviews critics published about his films. And he wanted to create an online space where the reviews could be compiled, especially as Jackie Chan's first major Hollywood film - "Rush Hour" - was coming out. Eventually, Duong and his associates began to compile reviews for other films not starring Chan, and the idea snowballed from there.
