Factual error: When the house explodes there is a massive explosion and fireball that creates a pressure wave strong enough to send Brian flying into the van. However not a single window breaks on the houses just feet from the explosion.
Visible crew/equipment: When Dom is in the hospital visiting Hobbs, he gets in the lift and says he's bringing Han home. When the door closes, there is a shadow reflected in the door. The shadow is big and black. But when Dom walked into the lift there was nothing visible that it could be, other than the camera.
Revealing mistake: When the team attends Han's funeral, Deckard Shaw is watching the team in a Maserati Ghibli with tinted windows. When Dom notices him he then chases Shaw in his muscle car. During the chase the Maserati Ghibli is seen twice with clear windows with a man in a mask behind the wheel. When Dom and Deckard come face to face with the cars and then crash into each other, the Maserati Ghibli is then seen again with clear windows. After the crash when Kurt Russel makes his entrance the crashed Maserati Ghibli still has clear windows.
Factual error: Brian, when confronted with the drone for the first time, goes "old school" by driving under the lorry trailer. However, trailers don't have anywhere near enough ground clearance for that car to fit, no matter how much the car suspension was lowered. It only works here because the trailer has been artificially lifted.
Continuity mistake: Dom's charger is being hit by various cars, 4x4s and trees in the bus scene, and is then in a shoving match with Shaw through the trees. However when he rejoins the road, the bodywork down the side of the car is immaculate. Even though it is reinforced, there should be scratches at the very least.
Revealing mistake: When Dom is first chasing Shaw, we see him swerving between cars on a bridge. If you look very carefully you can see at least one of the cars is not actually moving. Pay attention to their wheels. The most noticeable instance is where Dom goes to the right of a dark coloured Mondeo. Slow-mo helps but is not essential to spot this.
Continuity mistake: After Letty rescues Bryan from the bus we see her car door being shut twice (shot of her getting out and shot of her getting back in) - both times the door window moves up about 3cm a second after she shuts the door in each shot. The part that "appears" at the bottom has much less dust on it.
Continuity mistake: In this film we find out that it was Deckard Shaw driving the car that crashes with Han. We then see Shaw drop Dom's cross in front of Han before the car explodes. However back in Tokyo Drift, we see all around the car before it explodes and Shaw is not seen. Given the footage from this film, he should have been visible in Tokyo Drift.
