Continuity mistake: When Donald has his head stuck in the bowl of food mixture, you can see that the waffle maker has nothing on the bottom plate, but when Donald gets his tail grilled by the machine, another handle has appeared.

Continuity mistake: When the host on the cookery show on the radio asks "Won't you let me hear from you?", Donald says "Oh, well!" and runs off. At this point, Donald is wearing a chef's hat on his head, but when we see him running out of the house in the next shot, he is no longer wearing his hat.

Continuity mistake: When Donald peels off his chef's hat that was flattened by the iron on the ironing board, the position of the iron changes between shots.

Continuity mistake: When we see Donald stuck to the mixture at the end of the cartoon, you can see there are a lot of broken items on the floor underneath him, but when Donald runs off to the radio station, the floor is completely clear.

Continuity mistake: When we see Donald stuck to the ceiling holding his axe, you can see that his hands are at the far end of the handle but in the next shot they are now positioned further up.

Continuity mistake: When Donald goes on the table to avoid the bowl of mixture, you can that the waffle maker on the table has one handle on it, but in the next shot there are now two handles.

Continuity mistake: When Donald takes off his chef's hat that was flattened by the iron, you can see that there is a waffle maker on the table, but when Donald blows up his hat in the next shot, the waffle maker has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Donald has the bowl of mixture stuck on the waffle maker, there is a small metal circle on the surface that keeps disappearing and reappearing between shots.

Continuity mistake: When we see the radio announcing "Mother Mallard's recipe", you can see that there is a fork next the radio, but when we see Donald doing the recipe, the fork has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: After Donald has put the two eggs into the bowl, you can that the bowl is full of waffle mixture, but when Donald pours the rubber cement into the bowl, the mixture has completely disappeared.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the recipe sequence, the box of flour is initially coloured white but in the next shot changes to green.

Continuity mistake: When the lady on the radio calls for two fresh eggs to be added to the recipe, Donald says "Just a minute!" and goes out to get some from the hen. You can see that there is nothing next to the baking powder shaker, but in the next shot a salt shaker has suddenly appeared.

Continuity mistake: When Donald pours the milk through the sieve into the mixing bowl, the brown spoon on the table changes position between shots.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the cartoon, you can see that the radio is near the shelf of the kitchen cabinet, but when Donald begins the recipe, the radio is now at the other end.

Continuity mistake: When Donald pastes the "Roast Duck" recipe onto his scrap book, you can see on the right page is a large sheet of white paper, but when we see a close of the recipe in the next shot, the size of the white paper has decreased.

Continuity mistake: When Donald turns over the page of his scrapbook while listening to the music on the radio, you can see that the left page has a borderline around it, but in the next shot the borderline has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: At the very beginning of the cartoon, Donald Duck is sitting down on a stool while listening to music and looking at his scrapbook. You can see that the left page of the scrapbook has nothing on it, but in the next shot two small pieces of paper have appeared.

Trivia: When Donald ends up with batter all over his body at the end of the short, he is suspended from the ceiling like a marionette. The music you hear in the background is "I've Got No Strings" from "Pinocchio", which was released a year earlier.
