Revealing mistake: When Evelyn is hanging the clothes after washing them, they are already dry.
Revealing mistake: Jack and his brother are driving in a truck and the speedometer shows zero.
Revealing mistake: During the big shootout on the freeway at the end of the movie, there is a camera pan over all the cars stopped in traffic. There are no people in any of the cars. The shot is so high that you would still be able to see people crouched down if that was the case. (01:56:47)
Revealing mistake: As Will and Ben are wrestling for the gun, it goes off, shooting Ben in the chest. When you hear the shot you can see the gun is lying on Ben's chest with him holding it, and it's pointed pretty much at an exact 90° to his side. It would have barely grazed him at best and would have left a long scratch/cut at that angle. Yet as they get up the shot is perfectly centered on his chest and round as if it was a direct shot. Revealing mistake: Right before the scene where Freddie meets with the band to try and make amends, he's arguing with that one man in the rain. After he walks away and it's raining only on him and on the pavement. If you look to the right there is no rain coming down on the grass or trees or anything else.
Revealing mistake: The paddle steamer on which Wilde crosses the Channel has her name "Waverley" visible on the bow. The Waverley, the world's last seagoing paddle steamer, was launched in 1946, 46 years after Wilde's death. Replacing the name with the name of a real paddle steamer of the era would probably have been a good idea.
Revealing mistake: Annie hears the sound of scribbling in the distance and follows the sound into Charlie's room. When she enters at 1:26:13, you see Charlie's doodle book on the bed being written in and the pages flipping on their own. If you look to the left of the bed, there are a few visible wires running from the book towards the wall to turn the pages. In the photos, they can be seen towards the bottom of the nightstand. In motion, it's pretty easy to see the wires bouncing around (from 1:26:13 to 1:26:21). (01:26:13)
Revealing mistake: Callahan proudly shows to a policeman an issue of the Portland State University "Vanguard", the magazine that is publishing his comic. Looking at the prop, it is instantly suspicious because Callahan's name is all over it like he's a celebrity, and in fact, the article on it is nothing but a copy and paste of Timothy Egan's "Defiantly incorrect" article from The New Yorker celebrating John Callahan's talents in 1992. (01:12:55)
Revealing mistake: The anchor rope around Maddy's neck is loose enough for her to remove.
Revealing mistake: After Mel is killed, Scott drives away in a truck that they were just hiding behind during the shoot out. But there is not a single bullet hole or sign of damage to the truck.
Revealing mistake: While they're finally on the rapids, the girl blindfold keeps changing position from her neck to her forehead. (01:40:59)
Revealing mistake: Davey at the beginning of the movie is looking at the newspaper he's delivering to Mr. Wayne Mackey. Just from a glance at the page you can tell that something is off, since the article supposedly about a missing boy appears to be written entirely in first person. Upon closer inspection, turns out that it's filler text from chapter IV of Robert Louis Stevenson' s "Treasure Island". (00:01:30)
Revealing mistake: When Kurt and Elisabeth are looking at the painting of the Third Reich caricatures, in the shot focusing on them, a little girl in the background can be seen glancing at the camera. (00:01:45)
Revealing mistake: Once Steve gets out of the police car and start shooting at the first merc, the merc hides behind a payphone. Many of Steve's shots can be seen sparking off the payphone that the merc is using to take cover behind, however not one single bullet hole or dent ever appears. (00:46:00)
Revealing mistake: The protagonist broadcasts the description of Emily's car in her vlog. She then receives a mail from a mom in Michigan...or does she? Seems not, because if you look at the window of the mail open in Safari, she is on the Compose tab, not in the Inbox, with a Send message and format and style buttons at the bottom (and she is not replying to the message because the 'from' field is a "michiganmom381" gmail account. (00:39:20)
Revealing mistake: When Asher is shooting a bolt-action sniper rifle there's no casing ejecting from the rifle as he reloads it with the bolt. (00:48:30 - 00:49:25)
Revealing mistake: After Frank shoots Kevin and Kevin's SUV hits the curb, the background/scenery changes as well as the position of Frank's car. Frank initially pulls along the curb (behind the SUV) with his car at about a 30° angle. The next time Frank's car is shown, it is almost perpendicular to the curb and the Food Mart. When Rupple and Frank have their guns aimed, they would be aiming inside the Mart, not toward Kevin. Objects in the background also change (e.g, fire hydrant, telephone pole appear). (00:16:48)
Revealing mistake: Margaret's car and the way it was situated relative to already-parked cars in the courthouse lot was awkward. When she was sitting in the car, the driver's side-view mirror was angled outward yet gave a clear reflection of her face. The car in the row behind her was too close and at an angle, which would have likely blocked her approach. The car to her left was angled like a "V" to her car. These suggest/ indicate a green screen was used. Margaret's car appeared to be parked in the through lane. (00:53:58 - 00:56:52)
Revealing mistake: When Jin is walking through the train station with his granddaughter, right before Ling is shown standing at the ticket booth, a few of the extras that Jin walks past can be seen looking at the camera. (03:36:45)
Revealing mistake: The bottom third of the left-hand side of the screen is a "filler." At the top part of the left-hand side, there's a bicycle hanging on the wall, a square wall shelf, and a 3-Light Tree Floor Lamp. About two-thirds of the way down the wall, there's an inverted image of the items at the top - the angled edge of the wall (which does not line up with the rest of the wall because it's inverted), half of a bicycle wheel, the square wall shelf, and 3-lights of the floor lamp at the bottom of the pole.
