Continuity mistake: At the end while the whole family is about to eat pizza, the sun changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Zac Efron is first in the sorority house, the sweat stains on his shirt keep coming and going.
Factual error: Godfrey's sister discovers that Catherine Zeta Jones is a spy by making a telephone call to a Paris fashion house. As France was occupied during the period of the film, such a phone call would have been impossible.
Continuity mistake: When Mia arrives at the cafe she works at the morning after her and Sebastian first dance together, she has a yellow bag, but when her and Sebastian walk out of the cafe later, she has a larger red bag.
Plot hole: In Kung Fu Panda 2, Shen says he waited 30 years since he destroyed the Panda village, and Po was just a baby at the time. However, in Kung Fu Panda 3 Mr. Ping says he raised Po for 20 years before he told him he was adopted. (00:31:15)
Factual error: The main plot is that a teacher answering a student's question about Jesus in a historical context starts a legal firestorm. This is utterly preposterous. Teachers (and students for that matter) are 100% allowed to discuss religion in a historical context. They just can't do things like force other people to take part in religious activities (like prayer) or "endorse" a single religion above all others since public schools need to remain neutral. There'd be literally no case against her.
Continuity mistake: After the bar fight scene in the beginning of the movie, they approach Robbie's Kawasaki 800 motorcycle parked in front of the bar on the street. In the shot there are no helmets around, on, or near the motorcycle, but when they ride away they are both wearing helmets. (00:22:05)
Factual error: In Istanbul the caption reads "7:53 PM" but shadows shows it is actually between 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. (01:37:50)
Continuity mistake: While travelling with the novelties salesman, a passing car's occupants yell about the bag of groceries on top of the car. As the camera faces the salesman's car, he puts up the window advertising the fake bag gag. As the camera faces out towards the passing car, the window goes up again. Later, a truck passes by, and the salesman does the same thing, but the message is now in Spanish, without the man stopping to change it. A moment later, the window advertisement (seen from inside) appears to be in English during the same scene.
Other mistake: When the children arrive in Blackpool, Emma tells Jake that loop entrances can be anywhere and that "the one in London is in a subway tunnel", but on the map of all the loops they were viewing previously inside the boat, there was no marking of a loop in London.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, there is a scene where Rebecca's phone is ringing, and it wakes her up. She grabs the cell off the night stand. She has red nail polish on. When she puts the phone back down on the night stand, her nails are natural, not polished.
Continuity mistake: When Jane has just found out she had been accepted into the school soccer team it's clear that on the soccer list it shows Jane is 9 years old, but when her moms speaks to her a minute later when Jane starts to worry about getting into college, Amy states that Jane is 12 years old. (00:06:25)
Revealing mistake: When they (Finch and Frank) are on the boat to Ecuador, in the first shot you can see on the waves that the boat had sailed in what seems like a circle. (01:16:30)
Factual error: A few scenes in the movie show Roman cavalrymen using stirrups, which were not used by the Romans until several centuries later.
Audio problem: Abby is yelling at the ghosts that she doesn't like one, and then "I don't like you either" to another one. The ADR is so off that almost no words match up with her mouth movement.
Factual error: When Tripp enters the garage and we see his truck in progress, he states that the truck will have 425 horsepower. The Hemi pulled out of the Terravex truck is not a 6.4L Hemi (only a 5.7L Hemi) and even if it was a 6.4, they only produced 410 horsepower in the heavy duty trucks. The 5.7L Hemi makes 375 horsepower in the trucks and 390 horsepower in the cars.
Factual error: Saroo is in Melbourne in 2008 (as indicated by the text at the beginning of the scene). As Saroo and Lucy walk down the street on opposite sides, a red Nissan Qashqai is seen driving past. That car didn't come out until 2013.
Revealing mistake: When Austin goes to write the Roman numeral "XVII" on the chalkboard, the erased numerals from a previous take are still visible where he's about to write it. (00:41:36)
Audio problem: On the beach, when Rodrigues asks when Inoue-sama will arrive, the Interpreter tells him that he is not coming. Rodrigues then says "He treats me kindly", but his lips do not move along with the speech. He just nods. (01:48:55)
Continuity mistake: During the opening credits the protagonist is talking with his parents. Throughout this, the whiskey in the bottle changes level depending on the shot. (00:01:20)
