Question: Were the headphones that Evan Peters wore in the Pentagon escape scene available in 1973?
Question: If no one on PK's planet communicated using voices, then why did he have vocal cords in the first place?
Chosen answer: This would be a complex speculation question. But first off, it's not the vocal chords that allow humans to speak as we do, other animals have vocal chords, yet can't speak. It's about our mouths and muscle structure that allows us to "shape" sounds into words. Given the humanoid figure of PK (i.e. small, non protruding mouth and neck length), we can assume PK's species developed the ability to speak and then evolved past that, but maintained the needed structure for speaking for whatever reason, such as eating.
Question: When Cedric makes the $10,000 bet, shouldn't he still have won the money even though Zeke moved the chips since not only was he not the person who placed the bet, but he also moved them after the host of the table surely called out no more bets?
Answer: The money was actually removed before the host said "no more bets". Verbal bets aren't taken in American roulette, so even though he said $10,000 on Black 15, since only one chip was there when he said no more bets, that was the final bet. In real life though, there were various other issues that most high end casinos wouldn't have allowed in the first place, so the scene is just a plot device to make them become strippers. Plus, it would make for a boring movie if they showed the pit boss coming in and reviewing the situation.
Question: What happened to the girl that Schmity fell in love with and was with at the end of the first movie?
Chosen answer: While her fate is currently unknown, we do know that Brie Larson did not reprise her role for the sequel because of the story taking place in college.
Question: I haven't read the books, but Aragorn was born 10 years before the events of "the Hobbit", and given the fact that he's therefore 70 in Lord of the Rings I'm assuming Middle Earth years are somewhat faster than years as we know them. So that means Aragorn is really about 5-6. And I know Legolas isn't meant to be there in the first place, but when Thranduil tells Legolas to seek out a ranger by the name of "Strider", surely that's a plot hole or something that has happened in the "future" in the books that they've added to the movie as an explanation as to how Legolas came to find Aragorn. Also the last we see of Saruman and Sauron is Saruman saying "leave Sauron to me " So... What happens? We're kinda left hanging, we don't know what happens between them or for that matter how Sauron ends up in Mordor. Loved the movie but unfortunately I have questions.
Answer: When Aragorn was 25 he left Rivendell to travel the world, having had his proposal to marry Arwen rejected by Elrond. Hence he is absent during the time period of the Hobbit, having gone to Rohan and then Gondor in disguise. During his travels he becomes very well known among the Elves, owing to Elrond raising him and Galadriel welcoming him to Lothlorien after he comes back from his long travels. Even before, he had served in the Rangers of the North as he was growing up, where he gained the nickname Strider. Legolas already knows Aragorn before LoTR, as Aragorn had initially left Gollum in the care of the wood-Elves before someone helped Gollum escape.
Answer: Aragon is 87 in LOTR: Two Towers (as mentioned in the extended edition). The Hobbit takes place about 60 years before that so Aragon is 27 at the time. Sauron is banished to Mordor in Battle of the 5 Armies. You see his "spirit" flee and the White Council, mention he went back to the east. Between Sauron and Sarumon, it's mentioned more in other LOTR books, but Sarumon (while still technically good) has been looking for the One Ring. He does not join Sauron as much as uses the alliance for his benefit hoping to find the ring first.
Question: At the end when the evil Alpha dragon runs away, you see that Drago Blood Fist was still on the dragon. The large dragon retreated, going underwater and is not seen again. So did that kill Blood Fist? did he drown?
Question: Why does Archibald Snatcher like eating cheese if he is so allergic to it?
Answer: The White Hats are the social elite and the cheese they enjoy is a status symbol. Snatcher is emulating the social group he desperately wants to join, even though he is severely lactose intolerant.
Question: Why is Ronan able to hold the Infinity Stone? Isn't he a mortal like Peter?
Answer: As a Kree, he has superior physical and mental strength that allows him to briefly hold the Infinity Stone, just as Peter held it briefly. But if he had held it longer he would have been destroyed, although he would be able to hold it longer than most. This is why he was trying to embed the stone into his Cosmi-Rod.
Question: I don't really understand what their plan was in luring it into the pool. Did they think electrocuting it would kill it? Why would they assume that, when nothing so far has killed it?
Question: Can a person really get drunk on cough medicine?
Answer: Yes, though that was more common in the past. Several brands contain alcohol, though they're obviously not intended as a beverage. In the book 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, ' there's a scene where the inmates get drunk on a jug of industrial cough medicine.
Question: Before leaving the plane, the doctor smirks, and after leaving he furtively looks back. He's supposedly an innocent, so why does he do this?
Answer: At no point is he shown smirking before leaving the plane. In the two shots he appears in before he is shown exiting, the first he is wearing an oxygen mask, and the second shows him straight-faced and helping someone to the front. The reason he looks back after going down the slide could simply just be to see who is coming behind him, or he could be examining the damage to the plane.
Question: How can Murphy still be alive if he doesn't have a heart?
Chosen answer: He most likely has an artificial heart or some type of system that circulates his blood, this system doesn't necessarily have to take the shape of a typical human heart. However if his biological heart is still functional, it may be behind the lungs.
Answer: Watch again the scene (s), especially close to the end when his armor is reverted to silver and just between his lungs; his heart is just behind his lungs and beating, though if you blink you might miss it.
Question: Which Robin is it in this movie? It's hard for me to tell. His personality is kinda like a mix of Jason Todd and Tim Drake, but he talks a lot kinda like Dick Grayson and fights with a staff like Dick from Teen Titans. So I can't quite tell which Robin it is.
Answer: Tim Drake.
Question: The end of the movie had me all confused. What happened? Is it implying that the Angels came down from Heaven and began killing all the new believers? What were we led to believe at the end?
Answer: At the end locusts descend on earth from heaven to wipe out the human race. This is taken directly from the bible. Basically, everyone who was not taken during the rapture would be left on earth to be tormented and eventually all of humanity would be wiped out by a massive swarm of locusts.
