Continuity mistake: When Doris is watching The Fat Albert Show, she is holding the remote out just above her knee. When her tear falls down, it falls directly in the middle of the remote.
Continuity mistake: When Lola's Mother finally acknowledges her as being Lola, she is seen walking backward towards a green door. The camera moves to Lola, then back to the Mother where there are now two backstage people standing behind her, in front of the green door.
Continuity mistake: When Wynn looks at Rains' file, the drawer her file is in is slightly open before he finds it. The shot cuts to Dodd reading the paper, then back to Wynn, and her drawer is shut. (00:32:40)
Continuity mistake: After Ryan carjacks the lawyer for the first time a truck smashes into the security car blowing it up. Before the shot of the explosion the lawyer is sitting in the car without dark glasses. After the explosion it cuts back to the lawyer's car, however you can see in the rear view mirror that the person sitting in the driver's seat is wearing dark glasses. (00:38:55)
Continuity mistake: In the shot when Anna is on the helicopter after running from Ben, his t-shirt is up (showing his stomach), then down, then back up again in a matter of seconds.
Continuity mistake: During Gary's speech at the end, in one scene his hair is messy, but as the camera angle changes it is straightened again.
Continuity mistake: Eddie is trying to fix something, and oil starts spraying out of it all over him. In the next shot the oil is gone, then the next shot brings the oil back.
Continuity mistake: When Passepartout and Fogg arrive at The Royal Academy of Science explaining about breaking the speed barrier, Lord Kelvin asks where his authorization is and mocks Fogg while laughing and lowering his right arm. When it cuts, his arm is back up to his stomach. (00:13:00)
Continuity mistake: A montage scene of newspaper headlines early on has March 12, 1939 as the date. Much later in the film, Jude Law asks Gwyneth Paltrow the date so he can calculate the position of a star. She responds "March 2" but there is absolutely nothing to indicate that nearly a year has passed.
Continuity mistake: When Derek arrives at the house party he gets a blue drink off a tray, yet when he manages to get away from the jocks its disappeared.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Alfie sees Julie in the cafe with Adam, he walks out to his scooter. They show him put on his scarf. Then for a second, it disappears, then reappears.
Continuity mistake: When Jack and Miles pull up to the house to retrieve the wallet, one of the drapes is pulled back in the front window. When Miles walks up to the house, both drapes are drawn over the window.
Continuity mistake: When Frank is in the warehouse about to make the trade for the family, the big tilt-out window behind him is open or closed depending on the camera angle.
Continuity mistake: During the fight between the vampires and Anton, the vampire stabs Anton in the hand with the scissors and Anton kicks him in the face. When Anton starts his kicks the vampire is still holding the scissors that are imbedded in Anton but when the shot changes and Anton lands the kick, the vampire is a few steps to the side and not holding the scissors anymore. Continuity mistake: When Josh Hartnett is in the hotel dreaming about meeting Lisa, and he is driving around in his friend's Mustang, the wheels/hubcaps on the car keep changing.
Continuity mistake: When the two villagers throw the slab of meat on the rock for the creatures, it lands rib side up. A second later the meat is shown from a different angle, and now it is lying skin side up. (00:38:05)
Continuity mistake: When the Professor is locked in the rec room, the door opens and while he's shooting there is a round handle to open and lock the door, mounted on the door. When he stops firing the gun, the shot cuts to him then back to the door and the round handle is gone. Later, when someone leaves the room it is back again.
