Bruce Almighty picture

Factual error: At the very end of the film Bruce is reporting on a drive for blood donors, and Grace leads him over to the booth to give blood himself - he is even wearing a tourniquet. However, he is supporting himself on a walking stick - he is not fully recovered from the injuries he received when he was run over, which happened when he was hit by a moving car - injuries which left him clinically dead. There is absolutely no way that a person who has suffered life threatening injuries and has undergone the (inevitably) intensive drug therapies and surgical procedures involved while under treatment in hospital in the fairly recent past would be allowed to give blood. There is no way that the Red Cross (or the US equivalent) would want to encourage people who have recently been hospitalised to try to give blood. Not only would that be the height of irresponsibility, they would be wasting precious resources and staff time turning away people who would not be allowed to give blood.

Factual error: When we see the burning 'DD' in Joe Pantoliano's glasses it is not a reflection. The DD should be backwards in his glasses. (00:26:55)

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl picture

Factual error: During Jack's sliding down the rope scene, it is very noticeable that each one of the English soldiers fire their weapons more than once, which is impossible for that time, knowing that repetition weapons weren't invented until the mid 1800s. (00:20:00)

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen picture

Factual error: In a shot near the beginning of the film, the gravestone for Allan Quatermain's son is misspelled "Quartermain". [People are trying to correct this, saying the spelling's correct - no it's not: http://uk.imdb.com/Title?0311429.] (00:12:50)

Timeline picture

Factual error: Both the English and French armies are wearing uniforms (English red and the French blue). An army would not have had a uniform at this time - each knight would have his own standard and colours - these colours would also have been worn by his squires. The peasants (bowmen) would wear their own clothes - usually a brown or other earth tone, and definitely not a red/blue tabard.

Final Destination 2 picture

Factual error: In the final scene where the gas grill blows up, the arm that falls to the table in front of the mother is not from a teenager - it is nearly twice as large as the young man's arms (as previously seen in multiple scenes). Some people say it's a leg, but if that's so it's a bit odd having fingers on the right side of it... (01:25:11)

Big Fish picture

Factual error: When Edward Bloom hits the winning shot in the basketball game, a three-point line is visible at his feet. The three-point line was not introduced until the 1970s in the newly formed ABA. It did not reach high school basketball gyms until the late 80s. (00:20:55)

Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas picture

Factual error: At the beginning of the film, after Eris gives her speech, we zoom in on a map of the Eastern Mediterranean - and the island of Cyprus is conspicuously missing (it's large enough to be seen on the map).

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King picture

Factual error: Gollum's body wouldn't sink into the lava if he fell in it as shown in the movie. Rather his body would burst into flames, and turn to ash. Falling in lava isn't like falling into a lake. Lava is more than three times denser than water, which prevents a human shaped body from sinking in.

Suggested correction: Gollum isn't human.

It doesn't matter if Gollum isn't human. Gollum is still a life form with skin organs and bones. Any life form with skin organs and bones would burst into flames and turn to ash if it fell in lava whether it was human or not.

You're talking about the properties of magical metal in a magical volcano in a fantasy movie. Who knows how it will behave?

The entry is talking about what would happen to Gollum realistically if he fell in lava.

It says lava's density prevents a human shaped body from sinking in. It doesn't say it's lava's density prevents a human from sinking in. Gollum's body is the same shape as a human body.

Good Boy! picture

Factual error: At the beginning of the movie, the boy checks his calender and crosses of the final box in August, meaning that it would be September. However, when he goes outside, all the leaves are orange and brown. A little early for the leaves to be changing. (00:04:00)

Dreamcatcher picture

Factual error: In the scene at the beginning, where Jonesy is in back of the ambulance after being hit by the car while crossing the road, they show the paramedics shocking him with the defibrillator. After the first shock, one of the medics says that Jonesy is still flatline and says to hit him again. This would not normally happen because you don't defibrillate in an Asystole rhythm (flatline).

Freaky Friday picture

Factual error: When Jake is giving Anna (in Tess' body) a ride on his motorcycle, you hear what sounds like a gearshift. However, Jake never pulls in the clutch or lets off the gas. If he would shift without doing this, the shift would never sound as nice as it did.

Brother Bear picture

Factual error: During the opening scene when Kenai is running away from a herd of stampeding caribou, several of the caribou do not have antlers, even though both male and female caribou sport antlers. One of these "antlerless" caribou is even seen running near the front of the herd and is easy to see.
