Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, Harry's van has bucket seats, yet later on when the "gas-man" rides along, he is sitting on a bench seat in-between Harry and Lloyd. (00:38:00)
Suggested correction: Mental isn't sitting on a bench seat, it's implied he's sitting on the floor of the van in between the both of them. Although hard to see, the backs of the bucket seats can still be seen behind Harry and Lloyd at certain points. You see a fair bit of it behind Harry whilst he's dancing as Lloyd sings the line "and if that mocking bird don't sing".
Continuity mistake: There is an announcer's voice speaking as the camera moves in on Team USA's first game, against Trinidad. The announcer says that Team USA is leading 6 to nothing, but you can see the scoreboard while he's talking, and it says the score is 7-0.
Continuity mistake: When Stanley is in jail, he put toilet papers on the toilet seat. But a few seconds later the toilet paper is not on the toilet. (01:10:35 - 01:13:10)
Continuity mistake: When Ace is trying to work out what Einhorn and Finkle have to do with each other, his dog sits on a photo of Finkle and its hair does not cover the face, the shot moves to Ace and then back to the dog and now its hair is covering the face of the photo without even moving. Continuity mistake: When Juan's girlfriend Anita first shows up by standing on the stairs during opening narration, the camera backs up and you can see the convertible interior of the Mercedes that Juan gets later on in the movie. (00:05:15)
Continuity mistake: In the movie Christie Swanson drives a BMW 3 series coupe. In the scene where they were making love the car suddenly changes to a four door model then back to a two door. (00:06:10)
Continuity mistake: After the Ballet, Alfalfa is being chased by the two bullies and Alfalfa is carrying a handkerchief that Darla gave him. He dives into someone's pool and swims across. When he gets out, he picked up his underwear but the handkerchief is gone. In the race, he has the handkerchief back.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Forrest goes and visits Jenny (and is introduced to his son), there is an iron on the ironing board in the background. It stands up, then down, then up. The child's artwork in the background also disappears. (01:56:25)
Continuity mistake: When the Little Giants ask Johnny (the kid whose dad leaves for work) to play, the door behind him is first open, then when the camera goes back to him it is closed, then it is open and then closed.
Continuity mistake: At the wrap party for "Bride of the Atom," when Dolores starts screaming at Ed "These movies are TERRIBLE!" her hair is curled in ringlets that hang down to the tops of her shoulders. She then stalks out of the warehouse, and Ed follows her. When he catches up to her in the parking lot, and she tells him she is leaving him, you can clearly see that her hair is suddenly much shorter and curlier.
Continuity mistake: In one scene of the movie, after Brendan Fraser and Joe Pesci have been sitting on the bridge, Fraser's cast is on one leg. Two seconds later, the cast has switched legs.
Continuity mistake: In the bowling scene, beer froth disappears from one bowlers face after they howl. (00:15:20)
Continuity mistake: After giving Scott his business card, Neal puts his wallet in his pocket twice.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the Spaniard is beating up all the guys that Maverick paid off he ties one guy's neck to a post with his whip. As the shot changes you see the whip go only around his neck, but in the last shot of the scene it's around neck and post again. (00:36:00)
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the movie when Chaz and the band are rebelling on stage and wrecking all the equipment, there are a few shots where you can clearly see that Brendan Fraser is only pretending to smash his guitar. (01:26:20)
Continuity mistake: The white gloves Corrina is wearing standing at the front door of her boss' house appear and disappear.
Continuity mistake: While being confronted by his teacher for sending fax messages to his friend across the class, Richie removes the fax from the fax machine. Several shots later, the fax has reappeared.
Continuity mistake: Near the end after winning the AL championship, Vaughn vaults the wall to chase down the teacher. As he climbs the wall, you can see a fan reach out and grab his elbow to help him up. The shot changes to a front view of Vaughn coming over the wall and the fan is now too far away to reach him with no time in between shots.
Continuity mistake: The evening after Rhonda reveals to Tania that Nicole was having the affair with her husband, Muriel and Rhonda are playing Abba in a talent contest. Tanya and Nicole start fighting during the song, but when you cut back to Muriel and Rhonda, you can clearly see the girls still sitting there just watching.
Continuity mistake: When Frank is going to look for a disguise he drives into a parking meter. The way the parking meter lies on the hood of the car changes between shots. (00:18:20)
