Clearly these two motions (him sitting up and down in bed and the sword appearing/disappearing) are two separate takes that were spliced together.
Revealing mistake: Just before RoboCop gets out of the car to walk towards the baseball coach, Lewis shoots at the coach and he jumps back. Watch carefully. Whilst jumping, his hat comes off slightly and you can see the make-up for the hole in his head, which he doesn't receive for a few seconds after this. Seen best in Slow motion on the DVD. (00:50:31)

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Jack Ryan is brought aboard the U.S.S. Dallas after releasing himself from the helicopter, two crewmen drag him inside. The crewman on the left side of the passage backs into a metal valve, but the valve moves down and left, then snaps back in place as if mounted to a rubber pipe.
Revealing mistake: When Marsten's men are forcing Aborigines off a cliff, Quigley shoots one man who falls over the edge with his horse. Just as the horse and rider fall over, you can briefly see the rigging used to flip the mechanical horse over the edge.
Revealing mistake: When Strakk is firing the giant nail gun thing at Darkman during the climax, you can see that the gun firing does not always match the squibs going off on the beams behind Darkman.
Revealing mistake: In the beginning, when Hamlet's father is being buried, the new king takes his sword and places it down onto the grave. When he does this, the tip hits first and you can see the blade bend.
Revealing mistake: When Rocky delivers the final uppercut at the end, the punch misses by inches.

Revealing mistake: When Graham and Stella are in bed, the camera shows only their arms intertwined as if he's lying on top of her. She's gasping loudly in response to his thrusting, but their arms never move back and forth to reflect this, so it's clear they're not really having sex.
Revealing mistake: When we see the navy seals burst into the factory to rescue the pilots, several of the bad guys get shot. On one of the bad guy's feet who falls back onto a table, there is a rope attached to his foot obviously so he wouldn't fall to far, or not to hurt himself or something. (00:09:50)
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Kim comes home early from the camping trip, Edward is startled and begins stabbing the water bed, thus causing it to spring many leaks. If you actually look at the bed, it isn't jiggling like a water bed should and the water is just spraying out even in places he isn't stabbing.
Revealing mistake: When Nelson first undergoes the experiment, the doctors use a small mask to put him to sleep. When he is supposedly waking up, Rachel asks Randy to help her with oxygen. He hands her the same small mask they used the first time ie. anesthetic. Just for a second she has a look on her face which says "this is the wrong mask" and she tries to hide it with her hand. For the whole rest of the film, the other doctors use a bigger mask when giving oxygen.
Revealing mistake: On the toxic plant, where James runs from the forklift coming out of the garage door, the oil drum containing Carl flips off the forklift. When the oil drum flips, you can easily see the mechanism used for flipping it. (01:17:45)
