Other mistake: In the final scene where the kids are being asked what was the scariest part of the trip, Data replies "The octopus was scary." But the scene containing the octopus was deleted from the movie. The scene is shown on the DVD's deleted scenes. (01:47:00)
Other mistake: The car that almost runs Marty over has the vehicle registration plate of 6S 48405. Later on, when Marty is hit by Sam, Sam's car has the same plate. (00:35:49 - 00:42:02)
Other mistake: In one of the first scenes in the study, Mr. Boddy hands each guest a weapon and then proceeds to turn out the lights. The room is thrown into complete darkness. Unfortunately, there is a roaring fire in the fireplace that would have illuminated the room enough for everyone to see what was going on.
Other mistake: When Chevy chase is being filmed cheating on the exam, all the video cameras are on the sidewalls near the roof. But later when they view the footage, the last shot of Chevy copying the answers is from the floor level where no camera was seen in any previous shots. Also what was a floor level camera going to film anyway...everyone's feet?
Other mistake: When Scott is delivering the hardware store supplies for the play, the cans of paint he is carrying awkwardly flip about like empty ones, and when he drops it makes a hollow sound. I'm sure they are meant to be full.
Other mistake: When Trash first comes back to life as a zombie there is a shot of rain falling and smoke swirling. The shot plays forward, then reverses for a second or two before playing forward again. The rain falls up and the smoke reverses direction.
Other mistake: When the fake TV ads for the Stuff are shown, the container states "1 Pint (.474ml)". 0.474ml is about an eyedropper drip of liquid. The decimal point shouldn't have been there.
Other mistake: In the mall scene, when Gary and Wyatt sit down on the bench and Max and Ian dump the Icee on them, notice how much slush is actually dumped on them from a 32 oz. cup. (00:32:55)
Other mistake: When Mitch calls his mom asking to come home Kent and his friends hear him make the call. Mitch then has some conversation with his mother. Kent and his friends begin recording the conversation at the point where Mitch says "I want to come live with you". The problem is that when the recording gets played back in the cafeteria the conversation is replayed from the beginning which was before Kent had begun recording it. (00:45:50)
Suggested correction: Kent starts recording when Mitch asks "Mom, are you there?" which is where the recording in the cafeteria starts.
Other mistake: During the climactic moment when they're defeating the book, Jason shoves the key into the lock, sealing the evil within. However, he shoves the key into the lock upside down.
Other mistake: The film uses the same footage of the club fight whenever the camera is looking down to the floor. This can be proven by looking at the top right corner of the scene and seeing Johnny fight the same three guys with the exact same movements.
Other mistake: When Mark first meets the Countess and they are sitting at the bar, there is a shot of two girls in the background. In one shot the second girl walks away and then again in another shot the same girl walks away again.
Other mistake: Before the wolf changes back into Evil Ed you can see the black cables pulling the fake wolf across the carpet.
Other mistake: When Joan meets The Jewel for the first time in the room where Omar is holding him prisoner, Omar enters and greets Joan. As he leaves, the shot shows Joan with her back turned to Omar and Omar is heard off-camera saying Joan looks pale. How does Omar know how Joan looks if he doesn't see her, and there is no mirror on the side of the room where they are chatting? (00:36:35)
Other mistake: At the carnival, the duo is told by the carny that they get seven rings for a dollar, but the only get five.
Suggested correction: The carny never says anything about how many rings a player gets. He only tells them the way to win, by getting a ring on a bottle.
When he's leaning up against the poke he says "Here we are folks. Seven hoops for a dollar."
I stand corrected. I just rewatched the scene. He does in fact say seven for a dollar. Interestingly, it's clear he hands Chun five rings, but when the rings are shown on the bottle, SIX are shown.
Other mistake: In the beginning, as Pee-Wee waits for the crown in his dream, a bell starts ringing, and everyone leaves, leaving him alone. After all the photographers are gone, there is one more flash from a camera before the transition to his room.
Other mistake: Lane comes home and sees a package addressed to his little brother, Badger. It's addressed to 1636 Virginia St., Greendale, CA 93065. The actual address of that house was 1636 Virginia St. in Glendale, and 93065 is the ZIP code for Simi Valley. (00:58:30)
Other mistake: When Morris is chasing the ambulance on his bicycle, he gets pushed/bumped towards the picnic table. As he tumbles over the table into the water you can see handle bars attached to the bicycle, however whilst Morris is flying through the air (separately to the bicycle), he is holding a second set of handle bars in his hands. Suggested correction: He grabbed onto the handrail bar on the back of the ambulance. That bar broke off, which is why he went straight when the ambulance turned (and the why he has a look of surprise on his face). It's that bar he's seen holding, not handlebars.
Other mistake: After Wendy reads the fake note she wrote from 'Snookie' to 'Bubbles' she tells the guys that it's really Peewee who is being set up to meet at the motel with Ballbreaker (Bubbles). Yet it's Tommy who shows up at the door.
Suggested correction: That's because Tommy conned PeeWee into giving him the candy and flowers, then sent him back to his room for something else in place of those. Then he ran of, got into his vehicle, and sped away. That's why when PeeWee showed up, and they asked who was in the room, he said "Tommy" as he realised Tommy duped him.
Other mistake: When the 4 humans rush out of the pool house, there are 3 aliens not dressed in their human skins watching them leave. The problem is: only one alien has eyes. We've seen the aliens out of their skins heaps of times and they always have eyes.
