Trivia: During the second to the last scene of the movie, Barbara Carrera is trying to help Michael York push a rowboat into the ocean from the shore. As one of the manbeasts runs into the surf towards them, Barbara Carrera screams "Michael, look out"! Michael York's name in the movie is Andre Braddock!
Trivia: This was one of three horror anthologies that Donald Pleasence (who plays Valentine De'ath in the final segment) appeared in. The others were "From Beyond The Grave" in 1974 and "The Monster Club" in 1981.
Trivia: David Lynch has never explained how the disturbing "baby" was created for the film, even coyly suggesting at one point that it was something he found that had been "born nearby."
