Continuity mistake: Vera gets onto her bus just after Stan and Jack have put spiders in the cab. She is wearing boots when she discovers the spiders, causing her to run into the back of the lorry. As she does so, it is evident that she is wearing shoes.
Continuity mistake: When Mr. Wonka is first walking toward the crowd, his walk is much longer than the actual path. Watch the shadows change on the overhead shots as the day of filming went by.
Continuity mistake: Polly Browne is in her dressing room with a picture of Tony Brockhurst on her mirror. She starts to sing and picks the picture off the mirror. As we see a close-up in her hands it is a totally different picture of Tony. As she puts it back, the photo has reverted back to the original.
Continuity mistake: On the coach trip into Brighton, when Mr. Lewis is following in his car, the shadow is on the lefthand side of the car. However, when he is shown behind the bus, the sun has changed sides, giving the shadow on the other side. In the same sequence, he is seen travelling on a dual-carriageway. But when he is shown waving at Myrtle at the rear of the coach, he is shown travelling along a three-laned road.
Continuity mistake: When Sandy takes out a condom in bed with Susan, her hair changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Gran first dangles down from the ventilation shaft, the slaver's key ring is too wide to fit through the opening. But when Jim loses his balance and Gran is jerked back into the cell, the key ring is suddenly much smaller than before.
Continuity mistake: When we first see Jones's van, it already has the flaps for the gun ports in the side, even though the van isn't converted to an armoured vehicle until later in the film.
Continuity mistake: When the farmer threatens Henry VIII with a fork after he catches him in the barn with his daughter, you can see that Henry is holding on the fork and it is well away from his body, but in the next shot the fork is pointing near Henry's face.
Continuity mistake: The camera pans over the porno mags Fielding will be perusing, but when he actually starts to look them over, the magazines have changed positions from the original shot of them.
Continuity mistake: During the wedding sequence when Walter Matthau is trying to force his daughter Mimsy out of the bathroom his vest is closed with his tie inside. The next second the vest is open. Then it switches back to being closed again.
Continuity mistake: When Frankie is eating the cake on the bus, the amount of icing around his mouth changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: After Duke gets frustrated that Mr. Longene still hasn't given him the combination to the safe he asks for Socks, and when it cuts to Everson and his team rappelling to another building, as Everson climbs over the railing his shoes have changed to climbing boots and his badge has vanished.
