Continuity mistake: When Don Knotts is in the old Simmons mansion, he falls down a chute of some kind. If you watch closely you will see the stunt person looks nothing like Don Knotts. It is a younger man with very straight hair.
Continuity mistake: When the Batmobile is going to park (before the bomb scene) there is a sign saying "Mobey Dick Parking Only". When he is later carrying the bomb and passes by the Batmobile the sign is not there.
Continuity mistake: At the end when the sled full of Christmas stuff is on the mountaintop, it starts sliding off the edge. It's going fast enough that it should be long gone by the time the Grinch reaches it, but when he does it's still right near the top of the mountain.
Continuity mistake: When Peter O'Toole is locked in the closet at the museum, he puts a rope through the keyhole and uses a hook to pull it under the door. In the first shot, from outside the closet, the end of the rope is to the right. In the next shot, from inside the closet, the end of the rope slides under the door to the left. (01:22:30)
Continuity mistake: When Charlie Brown holds the door for Snoopy before the gang leaves to trick or treat, his costume doesn't have all the extra holes in it like it does in the scenes before and after.
Continuity mistake: During the chase between the bus and the bicycle, the route number on the front of the bus varies between scenes from 22 to 23.
Continuity mistake: When Charles Hawtry is about to be beheaded, someone comes up to him saying they have a message for him. He replies with, "Toss it in the basket and I'll read it later." So she throws it in the basket, but in the next shot when you see an overhead view of Hawtry, the basket is empty.
Continuity mistake: When Belle Armitage first shoots her pistol at Johnny Finger, she drops it down the front of her dress. Seconds later, it reappears up between her ample bosom.
Continuity mistake: When Matt and Gail first pull over in the station wagon to spend the night, the car is parked at an angle between the trees. Later when it starts to rain, the car is parked straight.
Continuity mistake: When Alfie helps a woman out with a doctor, it's raining, but when Alfie goes outside the rain has stopped and there's no water on the ground.
Continuity mistake: Lady Effigie's left hand holding the envelope changes position as the shot changes from a long shot to a close up view.
Continuity mistake: The car Joey gets into at the moonshiners is a white 2 door 1957 Chevrolet, When he is driving along the winding road the car is now a white 1955 Chevrolet, but when he is run off the road the car that goes down the embankment is the 1957 Chevrolet again.
Continuity mistake: Brutus, the Great Dane, is shown crawling from right to left on the ground near the edge of the planter. After a brief close-up of Mark, his owner, Brutus is shown crawling from right to left in the exact same spot again. (01:16:10)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, Aldo escapes at precisely 3:00. But when driving away, they pass a store-front clock which reads 12:30.
Continuity mistake: Didi is wearing a long black negligee when Pepe throws her into a bubble-filled bathtub on a movie set. When she gets out of the tub and runs off, the negligee has disappeared and she is covered only with bubbles.
Continuity mistake: When Matt and Suzie get into Suzie's black convertible there's no rear view mirror, but then a mirror appears, disappears, and reappears. Then, when they've switched cars its rear view mirror also plays the vanishing game while they're still being chased.
