Other mistake: The catapult on the battlements Jean uses to evict the castle guards is rather curious. First, there is neither a bow nor any torsion to 'power' the weapon, and secondly it just seems to cock itself, right after each shot. All that Jean does is pull the lever and none of her diminutive helpers stand by for any cocking work whenever the catapult arm is shown.
Factual error: When Kitchener is shown inspecting Harry's old regiment, one group of African or Egyptian troops is shown to be wearing the Pattern 1914 Infantry Equipment, not made until 1914 at the earliest. Additionally, it has the 1918 modification to have two closing straps, so is over 20 years too late for the 1894 date at that point.
Revealing mistake: Several shots and whole scenes throughout this film are flipped horizontally in such a blatant fashion that even the name of the ship, "Sans Souci," appears as a mirror image.
Continuity mistake: During the fight in the garage when Larry is fighting the two thugs a calendar on the wall shows the month of August, the next day Turk has a poster for the next stock car meeting on the 14TH May 1955 the duration of this film is not that long.
