Continuity mistake: When we first see Giovanni Jones' house at the beginning of the short, there are five windows and the patio door in the middle is wide open. When Jones is frustrated with Bugs' singing and goes out to deal with him, the patio door is no longer in the middle - it is now the second door on the right.
Continuity mistake: When Tweety is running away from Sylvester, he hides in a tube of "Badminton Birds." When Sylvester comes around the corner, you can see there is a racquet next to the tube, but when we see Tweety coming out of the tube in the next shot, the racquet has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When Chip and Dale fall out of the tree after Donald had drilled in a hole in it to get some nuts, Dale lands on the ground and you can see there is nothing on the bottom of the tree. But when we see Dale just a few seconds later, he is now sitting next to the tree and grass has suddenly appeared.
Continuity mistake: When Pluto sees the bubble gum machine, you can see that the slide lever is positioned on the left of the machine. In the next shot it is now on the right, and in the shot after that, it is back in its original position.
Continuity mistake: When Charlie Dog drops his bone on the ground after his master leaves him, the bone is lying horizontally. But a couple of shots later, the bone is now lying vertically.
Continuity mistake: In this first Mr. Magoo animated short, Waldo is playing a four-string banjo. Throughout the cartoon, the number of strings keeps changing. Sometimes there are three and sometimes there are only two.
Continuity mistake: When the turtle who says he is "The Man with 1000 Voices" is standing at Porky's desk, you can see he has his hat in his hand, but in the next shot he is wearing his hat on his head.
Continuity mistake: When the three pigs are reading a book at the beginning of the cartoon, the front cover has "Children's Stories" on the red rectangle, but in the next shot the words have disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When Jerry orders the baby woodpecker out of his home, you can see that Jerry's right foot is facing sideways but in the next shot it is now facing straight.
Continuity mistake: The movie begins with Joe Backett witnessing one of the many victories by swim star Eve Barrett. In the very first wide shot of the pool, Esther Williams is fitting her cap getting ready to compete. Continuity mistake: When we first see Bugs at the Opry House, you can see behind him there is a pink poster with "Frizby the Magician" on it, and on the left there is a yellow poster. But when we see Bugs in the next shot, the "Frizby" poster is now yellow, the poster on the left is now red and a "World's Strongest Man" poster has appeared on the right.
Character mistake: In Frank Sinatra's scene in the taxi cab, when the girl is singing "Come Up to My Place," he rolls the cab window down and when he rolls it back up, he catches the front of his hair (the quiff) and has to roll the window back down to release it.
Other mistake: The calendar on the wall in Porky's kitchen shows April as having 31 days instead of 30.
Other mistake: Just as Ichabod Crane places his coat across a small stream of muddy water so Katrina can cross, Brom Bones rides his horse through the water, creating a large splash. Ichabod winds up covered with mud and sitting in the water. Brom scoops up Katrina and rides off with her. There is not a speck of mud or water on her, on Brom or on the horse.
