Other mistake: The body of a man is dropped from a plane into the sea with fake documents to mislead Germans. To convince the enemy that he's a soldier, cause of death needs to pass for drowning. The first drowned corpse viewed has no legs, so Firth keeps looking. He's told that a man who took rat poison to end his life is a good fit since the poison is undetectable. However, no mention is made of the fact that there is no sea water in his lungs - something any coroner would discover. (01:43:40)
Other mistake: When Martin and his younger sons attack the soldiers Gabriel sent to their camp, the body count totals 20. That includes the private who gets up and tries to run that Martin hacks to death. Later when Tavington is questioning the wounded private the Cherokee scouts brought in, he indicates he was in the fight. But Tavington states 20 soldiers were killed and the ambush shows 20 being killed. Where did the private come from?
Suggested correction: There are 21 soldiers in the group. Samuel kills one with a rifle. Nathan kills six with a rifle. Benjamin kills four with his rifles, one with a pistol, six with his knife and tomahawk, two with redcoat rifles, and shoots the injured man into the stream.
Other mistake: Aerial views of JJ's outdoor sleeping/hiding box show his backpack distorted and tilted to the right (as if partly fallen over) but ground views are clear, showing the backpack upright as it should be. (01:07:37 - 01:08:05)
Other mistake: In his office Captain Potts unrolls and pins on the wall a Training Progress Chart under the words "Intake No. 29" When the adjutant is calling out of the prize winning platoon at the end of the movie he calls first Prize for the "60th Intake." (00:37:00 - 01:00:17)
Other mistake: When Topper speaks to Ramada for the first time, we can see his name plate read "LT Sean Harley", whereas LT stands for Lieutenant, any army's lowest officer rank. The rank insignia on his collar, though, is that of a Captain (CPT). (00:19:19 - 00:20:09)
Suggested correction: Topper's not in the army, he's in the navy. He has the correct insignia for a naval lieutenant.
Other mistake: When they are running through the surf and up the beach in North Africa, there aren't any landing craft in the sea behind them. (00:10:22)
Other mistake: After Lord Buntaro's archery demonstration, Blackthorne comes over to the post which now bears the three arrows shot by the Japanese. In the paper wall behind him a hole can be seen, which is to be the spot through which the arrows have come. but the arrows and the hole do not make one straight line, which would have to be the case if the missiles were to really have arrived from there.
Other mistake: When Knut and Rolf leave Anna in the car on their way to plant the explosives on the ferry, they instruct her to wait no more than 2 hours for them. Once on the ferry, the earliest time seen on the alarm clocks is about 01:10 so we can assume that Knut and Rolf left Anna sometime before 01:00. When they return to the car after the explosives have been planted, you get a brief glimpse of Anna's watch which shows the time as 03:35; a full 2 hours 25 minutes after the 01:10 we saw on the clock yet Anna states that there are 9 minutes left. Other mistake: Just after newlyweds Gil and Lana arrive at Gil's small log cabin, they are visited by a Native American named Blue Back, who brings them a side of venison. Even though it has been pouring rain outside for hours, Blue Back is perfectly dry when he enters the cabin.
Other mistake: Sloppy animation: In the opening scene, the propeller of one of the Japanese planes stops just as it rolls into its dive.
Other mistake: At the very beginning, the first cut to Mr Lapadite he has an axe in his hand, ready to strike (and we heard two strike sounds before), but there is no log to cut. (00:03:17)

Other mistake: While all the business signs in downtown Osaka are properly in Japanese, the local newspaper, The Osaka Times, is printed entirely in English.
Other mistake: When the young Bulgarian man is winning at roulette, thanks to Rick, the croupier spins the wheel and releases the ball. When the ball lands on 22, he shouts, "Vingt et deux, noir farez pas." This means, "Twenty-two. The black didn't make it." The problem is, 22 is a black number. The black did indeed make it.
Suggested correction: The croupier is saying "Noir pair et passe" - 22 being black (noir), even (pair) and high (passe).
This same croupier also mispronounces the French expression "les jeux sont fait", meaning that all "all bets are in "the last word, "fait" modifies the noun "jeux", which means "games." In French, the word "jeux" is plural, but its gender is MASCULINE, so it should be pronounce "fay "the croupier pronounces it as if it were plural, FEMININE, by saying "faites "pronounced "fete." Have watched this movie a thousand times, and just realised the mistake tonight. Have been to Casablanca, and to Ricks...have also taught French for many years...I should have caught this earlier...rookie mistake.
Les jeux sont faits, surely?
Nope...he" is NOT saying "vingt ET deux", even though it sounds like that. He is NOT saying the word "et", he is simply extending the pronunciation of "vingt "in effect saying "vingt-uh "very common in colloquial French...However, see my remark below about how he pronounces " les jeux sont fait", finally, the correct way to say 22 is "vingt deux" no "ET" is ever needed. Will listen more closely to see how the pronounces the result of the wheel's spin relative to "passe."
Other mistake: When Lance and the coloured soldier disembark the tank near the start it's heavily raining, and they get soaked. However, the rest of the crew around and on top of the tank stay completely dry. (00:06:10)
Other mistake: When the company makes its first advance up the grassy hill through mortar explosions and flying bodies, as the guy next to Captain Staros takes a turn with the binoculars, watch carefully. You'll see he has them pointed down into the grass, not up the hill where the fighting is occurring. Further, the field has zero visibility from gunsmoke, which would prevent him from seeing anything anyway, even if he did have them properly aimed. (00:47:35)
Other mistake: The interiors of Miss Price's house is definitely not from a British country house. The ground floor looks more like an American 70's house.
