Revealing mistake: When the chipmunks and chippettes and getting ready for the balloon race, Jeanette walks up to Simon and asks him what route to take to Bermuda. Pay attention to Theadore; he's supposed to be in front of Simon handing the chest of dolls to Alvin who is in the hot air balloon. After handing him the chest, he dusts his hands and moves his head a little while doing it. If you look at his head, it seems to cross behind Simon's even though Theadore is supposed to be in front of him. Simon's face may have needed to be seen, but still a mistake.
Revealing mistake: When Jim and Linda are walking outside after the first night Holiday Inn is open, they are walking through the "snow" but leave no footprints behind them. It is obvious that it is simply a stage floor painted white.
Revealing mistake: When Sweetums scares the girls out of the tent, watch the first girl that runs out screaming. If you look at her face closely, you can see that she is smiling.

Revealing mistake: In one of the last scenes of the movie when the Younger Generation visits George they drive into the scene in their old jalopy Chevrolet. The only problem is, from the front end shot, anyone can see that the body moldings and lines of the car body don't line up with the hood. Also the gas filler cap is visible, in the same shot, on top of the cowl right under the windshield, revealing they hung the front end of a Chevrolet on the front of a Model "A" Ford Deluxe Phaeton. The only car ever produced with a gas tank filler on the cowl right in front of the windshield - Model "A" Fords. Chevys had too much wood in them during the '20s & '30s. They all ended up being infested with termites. So when this movie was made just 10 or 11 years after they were all produced, no Chevys could be found for filming. Chevy Emblem is visible on the radiator shell, but it's a Ford Model "A". Also the four distinctive vent doors available on Chevys, from the day, are visible instead of the louvers of a Model "A" Ford hood. The Cowl Lamps (Parking Lights) are also Model "A". Revealing mistake: When Sheila asks if Terrance and Phillip have any last words, Phillip says, "Last words, how's about get me the f**k out of this chair!" When he does, his arm leaves the arm of the chair and goes through the restraint, which reappears instantly after. (01:03:00)
Revealing mistake: Numerous times in the film the animals walk from shade into sunlight without their eyes reacting.
Revealing mistake: When Alice tells the Mad Hatter how she appeared in Wonderland the hare's paw is superimposed on the teapot's handle as if the pot were flat or he was floating.

Revealing mistake: In the scene when the aliens first enter Valerie's house, Mac and Zeebo find the fish tank and eat one fish each. The shot turns to Valerie's stunned reaction then back to the aliens, who are smiling widely, pleased with their stunt. If you look at Mac's teeth, you can see they are bright white up to his first molar, which is a give-away at his fake white fronts.
Revealing mistake: After young Donna and Bill are swimming back to the boat after what is meant to be a beautiful ocean swim, Donna climbs up into the boat. In the high shot we can see a line or seam in the floor under the water that gives away it's being shot in a pool.
Revealing mistake: When Woody and Sharon are singing their 'Ol Devil Moon' duet, Sharon starts to sit up, but then the shot suddenly changes to them both sitting up, Woody in a fade behind her as she sings.
Revealing mistake: When Dr Dolittle is talking to the parrot and it raises its left leg, you can see a piece of string running past Dolittle's head used to raise its leg.
