Continuity mistake: After the love scene with Penelopa, Frankie sits down on the chair wearing a green shirt. In the next shot he is wearing a blue bathrobe.
Continuity mistake: Toward the end of the film Ruby says goodbye to her family and gets in the car to head to college. The car pulls away from her home and drives for about 5 seconds when Ruby yells "stop the car". She exits the car which is positioned nearly exactly where it was when they started on the families' property.
Continuity mistake: When the Bellas just got told that they are not allowed to compete any more they walk outside and Beca gets a call. When the camera is zoomed in on her you see her calling and moving a lot. When the camera is focusing on the other Bellas she is standing completely still in the background. When the camera is back on Beca she is moving again. (00:12:50)
Continuity mistake: Walter takes part in a trial performance to join Erika's piano master class. When he opens the door to the concert hall his collar button is open, but when the camera angle changes and the door is seen from inside the shirt is closed. (00:28:55)
Continuity mistake: When Wayne and Garth are at the radio station, Wayne is talking to Drew Barrymore. As the camera cuts from behind her to in front of her, her arms switch positions. (01:02:00)
Continuity mistake: In the room when DJay first plays his keyboard, the dirt pattern on the door behind him changes drastically when the scene changes.
Continuity mistake: When Lestat goes to attack the woman in the park he already has blood on his mouth. (This is because originally Lestat attacked her twice, but this scene was later cut down.) (01:00:55)
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Bob takes Ritchie to "get laid", Bob approaches the girl in the pink dress at the end of the row, while Ritchie goes to play La Bamba. You see Ritchie play La Bamba and in the background Bob is all over that girl. The next shot cuts to Bob just arriving at the girl.
Continuity mistake: When Bette Midler is in the phone booth toward the end of the film, calling home and crying, she empties out her purse on the little shelf. A huge roll of money is prominently placed amongst the coins and other items. From shot to shot it can be seen sitting upright and then on its side.
Continuity mistake: When they are in the bar in Broken Hill, Old Shirl comes over and slaps her right hand down on Bernadette's. Then, in the next camera shot, it's her left hand.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Max and Leo visit Roger DeBris, Karman Ghia instructs them to remove their shoes because of the white carpet, and they do so. In the next scene, Max and Leo sit down and you can clearly see they have their shoes on. (00:42:25)
Continuity mistake: While seducing Michelle Pfeiffer, Jeff Bridges knocks her dress strap off of her shoulder in one shot, but in the closeup the strap is back on her shoulder.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Jack Nicholson finds the piano on the back of the moving truck, he uncovers it and tosses the tarp on the side of the truck. Over the next few shots, the tarp disappears and then reappears draped over the side of the truck. As well, the shots of Billy Green Bush taken from outside the vehicle show his hands gesticulating wildly, while the shots from inside the vehicle, from over his right shoulder, show his right hand calmly positioned on the upper right part of the wheel. This scene also contains a magically appearing chair. When Jack first finds the piano, he has to lean over to play, but a few shots later, he is seated comfortably on a straight-backed kitchen chair. Continuity mistake: When evil Swan hands the contract to the Swan who's about to kill himself, Swan grabs the contract out of E.S hands, yet in the next shot, E.S is still holding it.
Continuity mistake: As Hannah exits the plane in Tennessee, a man arrives in a pickup truck. In the close-up, exhaust smoke is blowing in front of the truck, but in the next shot the only smoke is coming from the tailpipe and blowing in the opposite direction.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, when Benny G is sitting in his car listening to the remake of his song "I Cry" on the radio, in the exterior shot of the car there is a massive amount of water on the window. But, in the interior shot, there is not as much water on the window anymore, and there was no time between shots to put the windscreen wipers on.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the song "Old Deuteronomy" watch the positions of Jo Gibb and Drew Varley flip flop in the background between long and close shots. Soon afterward, Cassandra slides down to the stage in a closeup and immediately slides down again in the long shot (while singing different lyrics). Apparently the long and close shots were often filmed in different takes and the choreography and positioning of actors were sometimes not matched very well.
Continuity mistake: During the concert when Johnny and June are singing Jackson, Johnny's guitar strap goes from a thick patterned strap to a thin leather strap. His outfit also changes from black to blue.
Continuity mistake: When Tony is trying out for the second show, he is shown wearing number 46. There is one shot of him wearing number 40, which was his number for the first tryout.
Continuity mistake: When Madonna is talking to Chris after the show in Detroit, her ponytail is removed first, then it's back on, then we see it getting removed again.
