Revealing mistake: When Clarice is at the archive, she sees two articles, one entitled "Baltimore Psychiatrist Receives Highest Honor" and "New horrors in 'Cannibal Trial'." The column beneath both titles to the right is exactly the same, and in the first article, that same column is repeated at the leftmost and rightmost columns and in the second, is repeated at the rightmost column. Revealing mistake: When Two-bit Mathews returns from the hospital gift shop with a copy of "Gone With The Wind", he hands the book to the nurse asking her to make sure that Johnny gets it. The book he hands her is an obviously used paperback with the upper front top right corner and pages all bent back. Shouldn't a gift shop sell NEW items? The book is only shown from the non-title side so they could have used any paperback for the prop as long as it looked like it wasn't several decades old.
Revealing mistake: When the Grand Ville turns onto the street where the children are playing, it clips a parked car as it makes the turn. This is the same car that later gets its driver's door ripped off by the Grand Ville just before the police give chase. It was repainted red for the second scene, but note the same dent in the right fender as before.
Revealing mistake: When Hightower is in the Monster Truck you can see that a white stuntman is actually driving it in one of the shots.
Revealing mistake: In the sequence in which Antoine Sartain throws a flare to set fire to the car with the two dead bodies, you can see it hit the floor from the left, but the fire comes from a complete different angle. (00:22:50)
Revealing mistake: Though it may be a little hard to see, when Poe is in his prison cell towards the beginning, he is doing handstand pushups. This would be really cool to see a star doing these only, you can see the strap around his foot holding him up. (00:07:25)
Revealing mistake: There is one scene where Alicia Silverstone is being taken away, and in the window, in the background, you can see a metro train with the letters on the side stating BC Transit and a picture of the British Columbia flag. Yet, the whole movie supposedly takes place in Washington state.
Revealing mistake: When Tensy's body, which Page and Max wrapped in a sheet, falls over the hotel balcony and then hits the ground, you can tell it's a rubber dummy because of the way the uncovered right foot jiggles.

Revealing mistake: Towards the end of the movie, Hockney (Kevin Pollack) looks into a van and discovers it's full of cash. He is then shot from behind and blood splatters all over the money. When his chest explodes, you can see the plastic of the bag the blood was in. (01:18:10)
Revealing mistake: When Costello's men drive off, after throwing Queenan off the top of the building, the state troopers are firing at the van. One back window is shot out, then in the next shot of the van the other window is shot out and then the same one is shot again so the one window is shot out twice in the same scene.
Revealing mistake: When Julian uses a credit card to open the sliding glass door at his parents' home it's obvious that there is no latch or lock where he inserted the card when the door opens.
Revealing mistake: While Gracie chases "Fake Dolly," as Dolly runs past the Asian couple her supposed spike heeled shoes have a filled in flat base between the fake spike heel and sole, obviously making it easier to run. When Gracie pins her to the ground, Dolly wears real spike heeled shoes. (00:48:10)
Revealing mistake: When the farmer is going to shoot the sign the bank put up, you can very well see the mark where the hole is going to appear.
Revealing mistake: During the scene in Clouseau's hotel room at night, there is a light outside which shines on the net curtains to simulate moonlight. This light is off when the room lights are on, and is turned on when the room lights are turned off. At one point, when Inspector Clouseau is going into the bathroom after giving the sleeping pill to his wife, the fake moonlight suddenly turns on for no reason.
Revealing mistake: At the party someone asks Marcus his name and he replies 'Vincent' the actor's real name (Vincent Cassel).
Revealing mistake: In the car chase scene where the cop is after Roland, you can see that there is no key in the ignition of the cop's car.
Revealing mistake: In the scene when Rusty hits Chip with the lamp near the end of the movie, you can see the lamp miss his face.
