F**ker Shot Me - S8-E7

Factual error: The President's casket is being brought into hanger at Dover AFB Delaware. There are no mountains in Delaware as was seen in the background.

Separation Anxiety - S5-E1

Factual error: Almost anytime where an ipv4 address is shown it contains one or more digit exceeding 255, impossible given the limits of the technology. eg: 257.100.23.59, 23.274 .44.67, and even 316.105.147.373. (00:04:55)

Super Powers - S5-E3

Factual error: Carrie loads a rifle with at least a 7mm Remington, possibly a .30-06 Springfield bullet. She shoots Quinn in the back one time, and he falls, only to disappear and reappear where he chokes Carrie from behind. He later removes his jacket to reveal he's wearing a soft armour bullet proof vest. The armour he wore was maximum level 3A vest which will only stop handgun threats. He would require a plate carrier with SAPI/ESAPI ceramic plates to stop such a threat. (00:55:37 - 00:57:10)

All In - S7-E11

Factual error: Filming location is Budapest instead of Moscow, you see HU license plates on cars, HU street name tags, and even the flag of HU and the EU waving over the building Carrie is on.

State of Independence - S2-E3

Continuity mistake: When Brody is driving Nassir Faris, the trim on the passenger side dashboard sometimes has a light metal-like finish and sometimes is woodgrain. In other episodes, it's the light finish.

Prisoners of War - S8-E12

Factual error: At the beginning of the last sequence a city centre is shown with the caption "Moscow." In fact, the city shown is Budapest, with the Danube, Castle, St Matthias Church, Fisherman's Bastion and Chain Bridge visible.

The Star - S3-E12

Continuity mistake: When Carrie is talking to Brody from across the room, her hair jumps several times between being tucked behind her ear to hanging down by her face. (00:20:30)

The Yoga Play - S3-E5

Continuity mistake: Carrie opens the safe to take out her gun. The safe is closed when they take her with a hood. When Quin comes in the safe is open again.

Crossfire - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: Tom nails the notepad with the bullseye drawing onto the tree trunk, and when he fires at the target the notepad is nailed differently and the bullseye drawing is entirely different as well. (00:27:20)

Super Grover

Crossfire - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: After David listens to the recording that Carrie made in order to leverage the FBI, in the closeup facing David as he says, "For what? The hope that this Imam will give you information that you don't even know he has," David's right hand is empty as he holds it up, but it cuts to the shot facing Carrie and David's hand is still up though now he's holding his pen. (00:20:15)

Super Grover

The Drone Queen - S4-E1

Factual error: The man who approaches Carrie in the bar identifies himself as a 'lieutenant JG', and the pilot who bombed the wedding party in the farmhouse. However, it was F-15s that dropped the bombs on the farmhouse, making them US Air Force aircraft. The USAF rank structure doesn't include the 'JG' rank- that's a US Navy rank.

Fair Game - S6-E1

Other mistake: Carrie took Finn back to hospital and after he left the car he lifted his left arm up and brushed back his hair. I thought he couldn't move his left arm?

The Smile - S2-E1

Character mistake: Carrie is back at CIA for a 6 pm brief. She takes a seat waiting to be called. She puts her purse under her chair. Shortly, her patience runs out and she says she is going to bathroom. She tries to enter the briefing and David escorts her out. She immediately enters the elevator and leaves. Her purse is still under the chair in the waiting room - presumably with her car keys, wallet etc.

Clean Skin - S1-E3

Other mistake: At the river, kids are smoking pot and the guy with dark hair is telling Brody's daughter they are the perfect family. When he finishes, he is obviously rehearsing his next lines and his mouth is moving. (00:07:50)

Pilot - S1-E1

Plot hole: When Brody is flown back he is wearing his uniform, complete with medals and name. But he has been missing for 8 years! Where is that uniform coming from? Not from his wife, because she just heard from him. (00:04:00 - 00:10:00)

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: It would have been provided by the military, when he was cleaned up, debriefed and looked after immediately after his rescue. It's mentioned that he returns to the US via a base in Germany, I believe.

Season 5 generally

Factual error: Throughout the season, it is the BND who run security investigations within Germany. The BND is the German external intelligence service. The internal security service, who would actually be running these investigations, is the BfV. Neither service has a power of arrest, which BND agents exercise on at least two occasions during the season. If they need to arrest somebody then they must call in the Bundespolizei (as they do correctly at other times).

Necrothesp

Chosen answer: Everyone else calls him Brody or Sgt. Brody, and it probably became habit to her.

The_Iceman

Can't get the source but I read that even the Producer responded to that. Stating that it was common practise for a military wife living in a military complex as everybody refers to their husband by their last name.
