In this episode, the Director of Photography, Michael Slovis's third and fourth letters of his first name are highlighted: Ch. This is not an abbreviation or symbol for any element.
Don Eladio tells Gus that every two years he has to give him a "paliza" which the subtitles translate as "a spank". A spank is an "azote" (Spanish) or "nalgada" (Mexican Spanish). A "paliza" is a beating, way more violent than a spank.
