Even in the next shot when the car driver gets out the car, the ramp is still there. Then in the next shot when Jon is trying to calm the driver down the ramp is gone.

One Two Many - S1-E13

Continuity mistake: When the phony cop pulls up beside the woman at the train/sports car MVA the emergency lights on the front of his bike are white, but when he is being chased by the real cop they are red, even when they are not on.

Continuity mistake: A truck with load pins loaded with PVC pipe bypasses the weigh station. After Ponch and Jon pull it over, the truck driver gets out of the truck and the load pins are gone.

Wheels of Justice - S4-E8

Visible crew/equipment: At the start, when the drunk driver heads up the one-way street and causes two cars to fly over another car, the two ramps attached to the rear of the car are visible.

Cry Wolf - S1-E18

Continuity mistake: Scene 1 has Station 51 with Engine 51 as the 'Ward Le France' and Squad 51. However in the next scene, Engine 51 is the 'open cab crown fire coach' that comes out with 'Squad 51' to respond to the responding call.

Disaster Squad - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: In the scene where a blue van runs into the back of a black car, the van spins to almost a 180°. In the next shot the van is perpendicular to the freeway, making the spin only 90°.

Hustle - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: When Ponch and Jon pull over the female motorcyclists, the burned hole on Ponch's pants change shape and size depending on camera angle.

Green Thumb Burglar - S1-E8

Visible crew/equipment: When the gasoline fuel tanker is on fire, the reflections of array lighting rigs can be seen on the tanker cab's door and window.

Drive, Lady, Drive: Part 1 - S3-E9

Visible crew/equipment: Numerous times, especially in this episode, in a close up on Ponch's face the camera, crew, and lighting rigs are reflected.

Movie Nut

High Flyer - S2-E7

Visible crew/equipment: Ponch and a pilot named Bob are in a helicopter following a car thief along a winding mountain road. The close-ups of Ponch and Bob were filmed in a studio using rear-screen projection. The bank of nine studio lights is reflected in each man's protective goggles.

Neighborhood Watch - S2-E5

Continuity mistake: Jon, Ponch and three neighborhood boys are riding skateboards at a local park. They all wear Pro-tec brand helmets. In one close-up of Jon, the "Pro-tec" logo is backwards.

Neighborhood Watch - S2-E5

Continuity mistake: Jon rescues a young girl who was riding in a supermarket cart and almost got hit by a car. With the cart remaining in the street, Jon motioned the driver of the car to back up and go around it. The driver begins to back up and Jon turns to face the girl. In the very next shot, the car is already several feet past the cart.

Highway Robbery - S1-E10

Continuity mistake: Toward the end, the sunglasses that the motorcycle thug is wearing suddenly disappear just before he gets caught by the volleyball net and the cops.

Movie Nut

Disaster Squad - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: The truck driver climbs up to an overpass and threatens to jump. Cut to an aerial scene and the news van is gone.

Crack-Up - S1-E21

Continuity mistake: A driver is wreaking havoc, putting two officers in the hospital. First while driving a Firebird, second when driving a tow truck. He is driving the tow truck as he approaches the accident of an overturned armoured truck. But the close-up shot of him as he goes by is from earlier while he was driving the Firebird.

Pilot - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: Ponch's motorcycle gets stuck in a glue spill so strong he couldn't push the bike out. But he has no trouble walking through it or sliding through it when he falls off the bike.

Aweigh We Go - S1-E12

Revealing mistake: A load of PVC pipe is secured to the truck with three straps. When the driver yanks on the rear strap, which comes off easily, the other two straps automatically become disengaged allowing the load to fall off the truck.

Trivia

Although many realistic freeway numbers and exits mentioned over the 2-way radio are real, they were not used in the show. An unused section of the 210 freeway (close to the 118 freeway) in the San Fernando Valley that wasn't quite open to the public yet, was the location nearly always shown on the show representing whatever location is mentioned. If you see many episodes, you can see the same section of freeway always shown.
