First Day - S1-E1

Character mistake: When Will tries to quote the law to the barman, he states that the group must be "accompanied by an adult" in order to drink alcohol with food. However, since he just served Jay, he believed Jay was an adult; and Jay is accompanying the group. Both Will and tha bartender miss this.

Thorpe Park - S1-E3

Factual error: The same number plate can be seen on two different vehicles in this episode. The registration M483LTH can be seen on the hearse and then on Simon's car when parking. No two vehicles in the UK will ever share a number plate. (00:11:10 - 00:12:30)

The Inbetweeners mistake picture

Thorpe Park - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: When the boys are on the Nemesis Inferno, Will sits at the front while the rest sit behind him, and this leaves the right outside seat free. However, when the roller coaster is moving, the mounted camera shows that Simon, Jay and Neil have all moved one seat to the right, meaning that Simon is now on the right outside seat instead of it being free. Thorpe Park - S1-E3

Factual error: About halfway through the scene of the boys riding the Nemesis Inferno, the coaster train speeds through an inverted 360 degree loop. In actual fact, this loop occurs right at the beginning of the ride, whereas this scene makes it appear to occur near the end. (00:19:20)

Thorpe Park - S1-E3

Deliberate mistake: In the scene where Jay spots the "car full o' muff" and they follow the car until it turns left (just after Jay says he'd "give a left bollock for em"), when it pulls away, the shot is flipped. The number plate is reversed, all of the logos on the back of the car are backwards, and the car is actually turning right, as it heads to the right hand side of the road. The shot is just flipped to make it look like they're turning left. (00:10:50)

Caravan Club - S1-E5

Continuity mistake: When the boys are arguing at the side of the road, there is a shot of Jay with a red van approaching them. Camera cuts to Will for a few seconds then back to Jay, and the red van is in the same place despite driving down the road. (00:21:35)

Trivia: Although they play father and son in this series, Alex Macqueen is only eleven years older than Blake Harrison.

Bunk Off - S1-E2

Question: Why do the boys decide to steal their parent's booze? They have three bottles of spirits between four of them, which is more than enough for them to get drunk. In fact, in Will Is Home Alone, they share twenty cans of beer between the four of them (five each, all things being equal), and are dreadfully hungover the next morning. Assume this is classed as a character mistake, it just makes no sense.

Answer: Jay, Si and Will steal Simons dad booze as they are planning on meeting Carly later on and have lost their own supply when kicked out of Neil's place by his dad after being caught and insulted.
