Corrected entry: When Gemma hands Nero Carla's ashes, the box appears to be empty. Nero proves this by flicking the box and acting like, is there anything in it? When a person is cremated, the ashes weigh at least 5 pounds. They carry it like there's nothing in it.
Correction: My point is the box appears to have nothing in it! I have my fathers ashes and they aren't light so I know what I'm talking about. The box obviously is empty.
Sorry, but you've only demonstrated that a box of human ashes in your own hands doesn't feel light. What feels heavy to you isn't necessarily true for others. You said yourself that a box of human ashes weighs around 5 lbs. Most adults of either gender would find that to be lightweight. I can lift a 5 lb. Box with my thumb, index and middle fingers, provided that the box is relatively small in its dimensions, and I'm an ectomorph. If you were trying to prove in a court of law that the box was empty and all you had to go on was the video clip and your own anecdotal evidence, you would not meet the burden of proof.
Correction: My point is human ashes aren't light and you can plainly tell the box is empty.
You can't see inside the box though, so you can't definitively say that it is empty. It would be one thing if the box was supposed to weigh 25 lbs or so, but 5 lbs isn't even heavy, especially to someone like Jimmy Smits who is 6'-3" and over 200 lbs.
Corrected entry: Tig thinks it's Opie driving the truck. Problem: When Donna stops at the stop sign, Tig has a clear view of the driver. Also, when he pulls up behind her, it's obvious that Donna is much shorter than Opie and isn't wearing a hat like Opie always does. Tig doesn't realize it's Donna until he pulls up beside her.
Correction: After he kills Donna he meets with Clay and tells him about Opie saving his life in the warehouse. He says he didn't know if he could kill Opie so he was afraid and didn't look when he shot. And he didn't know it was Donna.
Falx Cerebri - S2-E6
Corrected entry: Gemma gives Tara a .38 gun which holds 6 rounds in the chamber. She is practicing shooting at a target and fires 5 rounds. When she points the gun at Ima, the chamber still has 6 rounds in it. There should only be one round left.
Correction: Revolvers don't eject shell casings automatically and are still left in the chamber, which is what we see. 5 empty shells and 1 round.
Correction: I have just watched this scene. You cannot see the bullets, only the casings are visible as the view is from behind the gun. The initial response to this mistake is correct.
Corrected entry: Tara is about 2 months pregnant when Jax goes to prison for 14 months. The baby looks to be 6 months old, although he should be 12 months old. Same goes for Abel. He's younger than he should be for the amount of time that has passed since he was born.
Correction: 2 months pregnant so still 7 months to go. 14 - 7 = 7 months old, which makes the baby about the right age.
Burnt and Purged Away - S4-E12
Corrected entry: When Opie knocks on Gemma's door, the door opens into the house. Opie closes the door and it's facing out of of the house.
Correction: Gemma pushes the door open to allow Opie in, he pulls it shut. That's normally how hinged doors work. There is no mistake here whatsoever. What exactly, is facing out of the house?
"Facing out of the house" is exactly as it sounds, and what is seen, a door that opens outward. But the correction is correct. She never opens the door inward. It's a side or back door that opens out, unlike a front door that opens inwards.
Corrected entry: Wendy has Jax's baby 10 weeks early. When the baby is shown in the NICU, it's very obviously a doll. No movement, nothing.
Correction: Tara tells Jax that Abel is 10 weeks premature, and he's seen three times during this episode. The first time is after Jax exits the hospital, and we do see Abel's movements in the incubator. The second and third time we see this tiny preterm baby are right before and after his open heart surgery, and Abel is sedated and intubated, so of course he's not moving. There is absolutely nothing obvious which actually reveals to viewers that Abel is only a doll.
Corrected entry: When the fat insurance guy wakes up from being drugged, he bites Tig on the butt. There's no way a person can bite through a pair of jeans. It shows the wound and there's a tear in them and blood. It looks as though a dog bit him, not a person.
Correction: Yes A human CAN bite through denim, hell they can bite through cartilage and bone. Ie: ears noses etc. depending on bite strength. Remember the guy was drugged, woke up confused and scared so adrenaline is pumping too.
Corrected entry: Kozic gets blown up by a landmine. Later at the club, they have his jacket he had on. There's no possible way the jacket would still be untouched like nothing ever happened. He was blown to pieces but the jacket is complete and undamaged.
Correction: In this episode Kozik wasn't wearing his club jacket when he got blown up.
Corrected entry: When Pope sets Dawn on fire, there's other bodies in there with her yet when she's running back and forth, they all have disappeared.
Correction: The bodies are all on one side none are under her. When she is set on fire there are two scenes. In the first she spins around in one spot and in the second she falls against the side. At no time does she go near the other bodies.
Greensleeves - S7-E7
Corrected entry: SAMCRO knows full well that they are going to let Jax "escape" and not send him to meet Mr Mayhem, so what was the point of showing the vote for him to meet Mr Mayhem? It seems as this scene is only included to fool the audience. Some have said they still have to have a vote so they don't lie to the other charters about it, but it would seem its worse to lie about the actual attempt on killing Jax.
Correction: They didn't have a vote to prevent themselves from lying, they had a vote because it is tradition. It is part of being in the club.
Stupidity: Throughout this entire show, there is almost ZERO explanation of how, in such a small town, murder, assault, battery are committed by the club with no mention of HOW they're able to do so. This is with DNA, a barrage of ATF agents (in the beginning), and let's assume a forensics lab in the entire state. Has anyone seen forensic files? I mean come on, in the 80s in cities 100+ larger they were able to solve crimes.
Wolfsangel - S6-E4
Continuity mistake: Toric died with his eyes open. When the crime scene guy is taking pictures, his eyes are closed. (00:04:00)
Suggested correction: Otto cuts his throat, his eyes are open. The guards then shoot Otto and he slumps onto the bed then the floor. As the camera pans up to Toric, his eyes are shut. People don't die as soon as their throat is slit. It takes about 30 seconds.
Corrected entry: The doors on Diosa say "In" on the inside. Surely they should say "Out"?
Correction: Unless you can provide a specific example, I think you're misreading it. The doors have "DN" on them, which stands for "Diosa Norte." The font may just look like "in."
Falx Cerebri - S2-E6
Other mistake: Tara and Gemma are practising shooting. Tara is using a .38 which holds five rounds. She shoots all 5 rounds, then she shoots Ima's car 5 more times without reloading. (00:31:35)
Suggested correction: The barrel is open in her hand when she's shown then she fires at the car. One would assume the barrel is open to reload.
We hear Tara open the barrel when she and Gemma are watching Ima get out of the car and then it's a quick shot to her with the open barrel. There was no time to reload in that time.
Thank you Bishop.
Continuity mistake: In the episode prior to this one, Clay severely beat Gemma in the face. Bruised and cuts. Swollen eyes. This episode, which is the next morning, her face isn't nearly as bruised - it sure wouldn't have healed that much overnight. And the swollen eyes aren't as bad either.
Suggested correction: You can never assume how someone would heal or swell.
Clay beat her severely. Perhaps you should watch the scene.
Continuity mistake: Chibs starts the van and hears a bomb. He jumps out and starts running. He lands on the ground in a vertical position. When everyone runs over to him, he's lying horizontal on the ground.
Suggested correction: He does not jump. The blast from the explosion throws him into the air and he lands on his back. He is on his back in every subsequent frame until the rest of the Sons get to him.
Continuity mistake: When Gemma pulls in in her her SUV outside Zobelle's store, her car is dry at first, then after she's been in that spot for a while it's wet like it's been raining, but other cars and the road are still dry.
Suggested correction: The road is wet, as is AJ's car. There is a patch of dry road where AJ's car was when he pulls away.
Corrected entry: Gemma says to Wayne "who you chattin' up, Wade?" Subtitles say Wade also.
Correction: Wade Steiner - TM mechanic hit by home invasion that Under is interviewing in the garage. Gemma says "why you chatting up Wade?"
No she doesn't say why... she says WHO.
Correction: Wade was the name of the person Wayne was talking to.
Correction: Just watched this scene again and all I can hear is "Wayne." Why would a character get another character's name wrong 5 seasons in? The subtitles you're using are incorrect.
Wade was the name of the person Wayne was talking to. Earlier in the ep. Roosevelt is heard telling the club this name as one of the people who got hit with a home invasion.
Character mistake: The nurse that was helping the doctor tend to Clay has blood all over her gloves. As she leaves the room, she takes off one glove. No hospital anywhere would allow doctors or nurses to roam the hall with bloody gloves and hands. It's a health hazard.
Suggested correction: She leaves the room with both gloves on. Anyway, this can't be classed as a mistake because you don't see her at all after she goes through the door. She may have taken them off, off camera, as soon as she exited.
But a nurse wouldn't leave the room with them on, even if she took them off in the hall right away.
No doctor or nurse leaves the operating room with bloody gloves on! Come on.
Revealing mistake: When Opie breaks in to the lady's car at the store, he uses a tool that slides in between the door to pop up the lock. You can plainly see the door isn't locked in the first place.
Suggested correction: Opie was in a hurry and didn't check the door isn't locked. Not a mistake.
He used the tool to pop the lock that wasn't locked in the first place.
Correction: 5lbs isn't that heavy if you're strong. I work in shipping and boxes weighing 5lbs practically feel like nothing, because I'm used to handling much heavier things. Nero's a strong guy and may have expected the box to weigh more than it did.
