Trivia

When the Captain Scarlet series was sold to TV broadcasters, ITC (who had backed and then marketed the series) issued a "recommended broadcast order". This was not always the same order as the episodes had been made. Episodes 1 to 4 were made and broadcast "in sequence", but from episode 5 this no longer applied. Episode 11 ("Avalanche") was the 5th to be broadcast, swapping places with the episode "Point 783" which was the 5th to be made, but the 11th to be broadcast. See more...

Show season: Whole show  1  All

The Mysterons (season 1, episode 1)

Mistake Continuity: A mid-1960s stock photo of New York is used as an establishing shot of that city, with the Empire State Building visible. However, the events of this series are set in the same world as the Thunderbirds, and take place in the year 2068. The Empire State Building was destroyed at least three years earlier (in 2065), in the Thunderbirds episode "Terror In New York City."

Big Ben Strikes Again (season 1, episode 3)

Mistake Continuity: The Director-General of the United Asian Republic is seen to be alive and well in the restaurant scene at the end of the episode. This is very odd, as he was supposed to have been killed at the end of the previous episode ("Winged Assassin") when his plane crashed on take off from London Airport.
