When Dan goes into the machine for his MRI a light switches on just as his head enters the machine. MRIs have soft muted lights already in the machine (so technician can see the patient via cameras) they want you to rest and be calm to avoid claustrophobia, there are no bright lights. I have had 5 different MRIs in 4 different machines in 2 different states, all were the same. See more...

Friendly Skies (series 1)

The date for this episode is 1975 (as established by the front page of the newspaper one of the passengers is reading). The in-flight movie is Conquest of the Planet of the Apes, which premiered in 1972. Usually in-flight movies premiere just a few months after their theatrical run. [Usually does not mean always. There's absolutely nothing to say that they couldn't show an older film. Maybe they've already shown a more recent movie and are now showing an older one.]
