Trivia
With the exception of season 1 every season finale starts with the song "Carry on My Wayward Son" by Kansas. In season 1 the song was used in the second to last episode which was part one of a two part finale. See more...
Continuity: Season 6 Episode 15 'The French Mistake': When Sam and Dean are first talking to Misha, the collar of his shirt is tucked into his jacket, as normal. However it suddenly is sticking out over the top of his coat, then changes to being tucked in again, with no time for him to have changed it himself.
Audio problem: In 6.14 "Mannequins 3: The Reckoning", when Dean goes up to talk to Ben, Ben is playing a video game. Dean says something along the lines of "There's no way plants could kill zombies", therefore pointing out that Ben is playing Plants vs. Zombies, but the sounds coming from Ben's gaming system are not from Plants vs. Zombies.
Continuity: In the scene where the passengers board the plane at the beginning, the aircraft is a Boeing 737, noticeable by the crew jumpseats located by the entrance door. But the first scene you see where the aircraft is in flight, the aircraft changes to a Widebody Airbus, possibly an A310, noticeable by the different style of winglets that Airbus uses compared to that of Boeing.
Continuity: In the scene where Jill is looking at her 'Bloody Mary' reflection, the lines of blood coming from her eyes go down and straight over her mouth (because she hasn't smeared them like the real Jill has). But as she begins to talk, the lines switch from being over her mouth to off to either side of her mouth and back multiple times.
Continuity: The baby gets into the fridge, which then closes - we see a closeup shot of the babyproofing clip shutting itself. Then when the mother sees the spilled milk and realises what's happened, there are a few shots of the fridge - in shots from the front the clip's open, and in shots from the side it's closed. When she goes to open the fridge it's open again - she even fiddles with it to give the appearance of undoing it before opening the fridge door.
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Sam tells the little to girl to take her brother outside. The little girl runs out with her brother and Dean asks the little girl where Sam is, Dean runs to the Impala and grabs a shotgun. When Dean is running to the house, he runs on the lawn and you can see the shadow of the camera man running with Dean at the bottom of the screen.
Continuity: When Dean reads about the Roosevelt Asylum in his dad's journal, there is a picture of a Wendigo on the opposite page of the newspaper clipping but in a different scene, Dean checks the article again for information on the South Wing in the Asylum but this time on the opposite page of the newspaper clipping, there is no picture.
Factual error: At the beginning of the episode it is stated that we are in the month of April - yet in the orchard there are ladders, fallen apples and baskets filled with fresh fruit everywhere, as if it were harvest time. The god is declared to grant fertility and not climate change, so the harvest decoration seems definitely out of season.
Continuity: Near the end of the episode when Dean is being chased by the possessed truck, Sam tells him to take a left. After he's made the left, Sam tells him to go exactly 7/10ths of a mile and stop. Dean looks at his gage and it reads 70098.3. Dean looks up, then back at it: it changes to 70098.5, but the next time he looks down it says 70100.6 and when he stops it says 70101.0, meaning he's gone 2 miles too far. (Probably meaning it took two shots to get the scene right but they messed up on the gage.)
Character mistake: In the scene where Sam and Dean are getting coffee (right after Dean puts the itching powder in Sam's underware), as the boy behind the counter hands Dean the coffee cup you can hear him say, "Here you go, Jensen." Jensen is actually the first name of the actor who plays Dean, 'Jensen Ackles'.
