Fletch has a teenage son by the name of Raymond who was never actually featured in the show. He did turn up in the follow-up, "Going Straight", and was played by Nicholas Lyndhurst, aka Rodney Trotter from "Only Fools and Horses".

There was an American version of this classic UK show. It was titled On the Rocks. The script was reworked in order to make the style of humour suit the audience. Don't know how it got on, sadly.
