Continuity mistake: At the start, the way Ziva holds her passport differs when McGee asks to have a look at it. Note her middle finger is on the back of the passport and visible at the top in the middle. However, from behind, her hand is not on the back of the passport. (00:01:50)

Factual error: Ziva shows McGee her passport including her passport photo. In the photo she is smiling broadly. Regulations state that a passport photo must be a neutral facial expression. This photo would have been rejected. (00:01:50)

Factual error: The inspector is suffering from thallium poisoning. However, everyone is using various radiation detection methods to detect the thallium. Natural thallium is not radioactive. Of the artificial thallium, the only with a half-life long enough to last long enough to pose a problem is too weakly radioactive to be a significant hazard.

Revealing mistake: When crossing the street the victim puts her hands on the hood of the car. If you look closely you will see the hood has prints on it from multiple takes. (00:00:15)

Other mistake: Tony logs into Abby's email, however he mis-spells her surname on the login details. He spells it Scuito when her name is spelt Sciuto. The I and U are the wrong way round. (00:06:00)

Factual error: When McGee tracks Mason's first phonecall, he says the line has been forwarded to a skype number. When he does the IP address shows up on the screen as 212.11.256.192. An IP never goes over 255. (00:11:40)

Continuity mistake: When the bomb timer is discovered, Dempsey is stood next to the bomb as seen on Monitor 1 of the control room. The camera pans across, past monitor 2 and onto Monitor 3 which is still the same room but a different angle. On Monitor 3, Dempsey is now around 3-4ft away from the bomb. (00:14:00)
