Audio problem: When we first listen to the 911 call, the woman says, "there's no rush" however the audio playback bar is at a point on the screen that shows no spikes in the pitch. (00:06:40)
Continuity mistake: When speaking to Conrad about taking the internship at NCIS, the clock behind Conrad changes drastically. (00:04:25)
Continuity mistake: The way Abby holds out the bells for the intern to wear changes depending on the shot. In one shot she has the string over all 4 fingers and in another only over 1. (00:09:20)
Continuity mistake: The writing on the board changes style at the very start. Note the 1st A in Satan. (00:00:15)
Visible crew/equipment: While at Gitmo, Sergeant Spooner is attacked by a detainee, and when Tony joins in the tussle the gun is fired. It then cuts to the tented Global Courier van, and the pink tape mark is visible on the ground behind the van. (00:35:50)
Revealing mistake: Right at the start, in the tight closeup just as Sweeney squeezes the trigger, "Replica Independent Studio Services Sunland, CA" can be seen engraved on the prop weapon. ISS is a supplier of props for production studios. (00:00:10)
Continuity mistake: Gibbs holds up his father's WW2 era Hamilton watch and gives it to McGee. While McGee holds the watch to read the engraving on the caseback, the buckle strap is in McGee's right hand. In the closeup of the caseback the crown is at the bottom (which would mean the buckle strap is in McGee's left hand), but in the two shots facing McGee the crown is at the top (which would also make the engraving upside down while McGee reads it). Visible crew/equipment: While Gibbs and Alex are in the stateroom with Kasey and Curt, when Kasey tells them about the polyps on her vocal chords, the microphone can be seen hovering in front of Kasey, at the bottom of the screen. (00:28:45)
Continuity mistake: When the helicopter lands on the helo deck there's a white aiming circle with a lineup line at the center, but after Gibbs and Palmer exit the helicopter the flight deck is again seen in a long shot, and the white lineup line is gone. (00:03:30)
Visible crew/equipment: At the tuxedo shop, after Tim's phone conversation with Delilah, when Ellie says, "I guess that's that, hey decision made," in the next shot facing Tim (he's standing in front of a trifold mirror), the reflection of the boom mic is visible at the top, right corner of the screen. Continuity mistake: After Marie's smoke alarm incident Marie starts to talk about Alex's dad coming to dinner, and when Alex walks away from the bouquet of flowers the ribbon has been removed from the bouquet, but next shot it's once again tied around the bouquet. (00:31:50)
Visible crew/equipment: After Gibbs refuses to make a deal with Triff, just as Gibbs and McGee exit the prison's visitor cell, the shadow of the boom operator holding the boom pole/mic can be seen on the walls behind them. (00:32:30)
Visible crew/equipment: When the couple walk into the convenience store the man leads the blindfolded woman, and when they stop in front of the display coolers, their two yellow and orange tape marks are visible on the floor in this shot (the tape marks are gone in the following overhead shot). Visible crew/equipment: While Gibbs is in the lab reviewing the toxicology report with Abby she notes the organic red dye. When Gibbs heads to the door, just as Abby asks if he wants to know how Diego died, the pink T-mark is visible on the floor where Gibbs stands. (00:25:05)
Revealing mistake: When Abby and Palmer tell Gibbs about General Gadet, Palmer notes that Ellie has been trying to find his last location, and Ellie replies, "Which I think I have and something more." Then Ellie walks over to Gibbs with her laptop to show him the NSA intel report about General Gadet. The problem is the first sentence of the NSA report reads, "Which I think I have and something more," which was Ellie's reply in the dialogue, and a few lines down are three paragraphs of nonsensical filler text. Visible crew/equipment: When Gibbs and Tony are in Vance's office, after viewing Abby's S-mine video Vance walks over to his desk, and the two green tape marks are visible on the floor where he stands. (00:26:25)
Continuity mistake: While Bishop and Torres are locked in the two jail cells, Bishop knocks out the glass from her barred window, but when Torres breaks the old toilet and says, "I really think we're stuck in here," Bishop's cell window glass is perfectly intact - we can see the reflection of all the bars. (00:07:10)
Visible crew/equipment: When Gibbs and Ellie are at Demint's property gate his daughter drives up, and when Margot gets out of her car the two red and pink T-marks (plastic type) are visible on the ground by Ellie's feet. (00:12:45)
Visible crew/equipment: While Ellie and Nick are undercover they meet Donnie, and when Ellie walks behind the store's counter the yellow T-mark is visible on the floor. (00:16:30)
