This episode's airing was postponed for almost a year following the Virginia Tech massacre. Coincidentally, a similar event happened to David Boreanaz almost exactly eight years earlier when the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" episode "Earshot" was postponed following the Columbine school massacre.
