Chapter XXIV

Mistake Continuity: When Palpatine and his rescuers emerge from the elevator, the characters' positions in relation to each other changes radically despite nobody moving. First shot, the line up, left to right, is Hammer Head, Trooper, female Jedi, Palpatine, Trooper and four-eyes (the 3 Jedi are in the front row, the rest behind). In the next shot, the order is now (right to left, from behind) Hammer Head, female Jedi, Trooper, Palpatine, Trooper and four-eyes (Palpatine now in the front row). Next, a tighter shot has Hammer Head moved to the back row, behind a trooper. Meanwhile, the two troopers keep switching sides, as the rifle is seen at left or at right, while the rocket launcher is not seen at all until the troopers are suddenly together at the left of the screen when Hammer Head yells.

Mistake Continuity: When Palpatine and his rescuers are in the descending elevator, a wide shot shows the trooper with the rocket launcher standing at the far left of the shot, in front of the hammer-headed Jedi. The shot then tightens in and suddenly this trooper is behind Palpatine, who is behind that Jedi.

Chapter XXV

Mistake Continuity: When Mace Windu intercepts Grievous at the latter's gunship, Grievous activates his lightsabers while standing on the ramp to his ship's hatch. But when Windu crushes his chest and Grievous starts to cough, he is suddenly standing right inside the hatch.

Mistake Other: When the most recently mutated Nelvaanian tries to show Anakin how to free his tribe mates, the second Nelvaanian he rips the control harness from, suddenly has his implanted left arm blaster missing; instead his hand - which should have been amputated - appears.

Mistake Continuity: In some shots Anakin's scar is missing leaving just the blue marks.

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": When Mace Windu jumps aboard the gunship and orders the pilot to turn around, and the pilot replies with "Yes, sir", there is a blaster cannon mounted in front of the pilot canopy. However, LAAT gunships do not have a blaster mounted right before the canopy. This shot evidently comes from the scene in Chapter XXIII where Windu rescues an ARC-170 fighter from three vulture Droids.

Mistake Factual error: When a droid fires a continuous laser beam at Windu, it is drawn over the street before Windu deflects it. But the beam curiously does not cut up the pavement or even leave scorch marks.

Mistake Continuity: After Anakin and the most recently mutated Nelvaanian free the other mutated, the latter puts his hand on one of his fellow's shoulder. When he does, the control harness the two should have destroyed earlier is still on; in the next scene right after, the harness is gone.
