Character mistake: Howard Borden goes to Bob's office and says it's the first time he's been there. In fact, he had come to the office to address Bob's "fear of flying" group in the first episode.
Other mistake: In the opening credits, Bob answers the phone. None of the buttons light up when the phone rings. On that style of phone, the light would indicate which line to answer. The phone is obviously a prop.
Continuity mistake: In the opening credits where Bob is on the 'el' platform, the train car he is sitting in is different from the one he enters in the scene before. The car he is shown entering is an older car with small windows and the car he is sitting in is a newer model with much larger windows.
Visible crew/equipment: When Emily and Bob get into the elevator to go to lunch. The camera pans over to the door to Bob's office. The shadow of the camera is visible on the wall.
Fly the Unfriendly Skies - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When Bob talks to his friend Howard about flying, Howard's hands move from resting in his jacket pockets to his hips between shots. (00:04:50)
Deliberate mistake: The circular desk where Carol sits should be rotated 180 degrees so she is facing the elevators. How many times have you gotten off an elevator in a fancy office building only to see the back of the receptionist's head?
Have You Met Miss Dietz? - S2-E6
Visible crew/equipment: The camera is on Carol sitting at her desk talking. Behind her, you see a shadow of someone walking by. (My guess is that it was Jerry Robinson getting into position to enter the scene about 23 seconds later from that same location.) (00:07:45)

Visible crew/equipment: When Bob and Howard enter Jerry's apartment, set lighting is visible at the right. (00:17:00)
Making Up Is the Thing to Do - S5-E13
Character mistake: Howard's epaulets are on his uniform coat backwards. (00:05:12)
Continuity mistake: In the earlier episodes, the number on Bob's office door is 715. In the later episodes, the number is 751.
Continuity mistake: When Bob and Howard are in Bob's office at the beginning of the episode. Bob is holding a book that is open, the shot changes and the book is now closed.
Visible crew/equipment: After Carol and Don go into Bob's office, the shadow of the boom mic is visible on the wall behind Bob.
Continuity mistake: When Emily and Howard are talking about Howard's ex wife moving in with her boyfriend. Howard's puts his hands on his forehead. The shot changes, his hands are now on his cheek.
Fit, Fat and Forty One - S2-E11
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene when Bob is at the doctor, the doctor is pointing at Bob. The shot changes and his hands are now in his pockets.
Emily, I'm Home - Emily? - S1-E21
Continuity mistake: Emily has her hand in the cupboard putting the groceries away. The shot changes and it isn't.
Not with My Sister You Don't - S1-E19
Continuity mistake: When Mr. Dabney is yelling at Carol she is holding a pencil ready to write. The shot changes and she's no longer ready to write.
Continuity mistake: Bob hands Margaret the petition, and she is holding it away from her body. The shot changes and she is now holding it against her body.
Anything Happen While I Was Gone? - S1-E10
Visible crew/equipment: When Cynthia leaves Bob's office, a crew member can be seen by Bob's desk. (00:06:25)
Factual error: The apartment makes no sense.There are 3 steps down to the living room which you might have in a house but not in a high rise apartment building.The hallway shows a door for another apartment which would put most of its apartment out past the edge of the building.
Let's Get Away from It Almost - S1-E15
Continuity mistake: About 2/3 into the episode, Bob pulls out his suitcase to start packing, sets it on the bed and opens it. After being interrupted by their neighbor the scene moves back to the bed where the suitcase is closed again even though no one has gone near it.
