Continuity: Series 6, Episode 1: "The Impossible Astronaut" - When the alien kills Joy in the bathroom in front of Amy, the fragments of her body disappear from the floor once the alien approaches Amy.

Factual error: Series 6, Episode 9: "Night Terrors" - The Doctor says George has pantaphobia and that it is "the fear of everything". In reality, it is "the fear of nothing".

Visible crew/equipment: In series 6 episode 3 "The Curse of the Black Spot". When Amy pulls out the Sword before fighting the Pirates, you can see a cameraman's reflection on the Sword.

Continuity: Episode 6.01, "The Impossible Astronaut" - When The Doctor is shot and killed while trying to regenerate on the beach, he falls with both legs extended. When River, Amy and Rory run up to him his left leg is bent. The camera cuts away again, and when it cuts back to show The Doctor's body one more time both legs are straight again.

Revealing: In the Series 6 episode, "The Impossible Astronaut," when the Doctor is struck by the green light emitted from the astronaut, his right thigh momentarily disappears due to the animation. (This is even more visible when looking at the still of this shot on the Doctor Who website.)

Continuity: In the episode with the gangers (series 6), The Doctor is in a room talking to Amy, Rory and everyone else. He stands in front of a table where there is a house of cards. The house of cards changes between shots.

Continuity: "A Good Man Goes to War": Rory threatens Madame Kovarian with a sword. It's on her neck, then in the next shot the sword is next to her.

Revealing: Series 6, episode 9, "Night Terrors". In the scene where the man wakes up on his floor, because his pet dog is licking his hand, we see a few pieces of dog food fall from his fingers - should have been a re-shoot, but all credit to the actor, he knows it has happened and is quick to hide them again.

Continuity: Throughout series 5 and series 6, The Doctor's hair style keeps changing sides.

Character mistake: Season 6, episode 4, "The Doctor's Wife": Idris (the human form of the Tardis) berates the Doctor because the doors of the Tardis open inwards, pointing to the notice on the left hand door which says 'pull to open'. Whilst it is true that police boxes did open outwards, the notice is actually referring to the telephone in the small recess behind the notice. The public are instructed to 'pull to open' the small door to access the phone. Consequently, the small door does open correctly, as in the notice.
