Soap (1977) - 5 mistakes in entire show

Revealing: Toward the end of the episode, Bert receives an envelope with pictures of him and Danny at a motel with some women. As they look at photos, Bert hands Danny some photos. Danny crosses left. Bert turns stack of photos over and says there is a note. He reads note and turns photos back over afterwards. The backs of the photos are blank. Danny crosses right to Bert holding photos. You can see on the back of Danny's photos the note Bert just read from the other side of the room.

Continuity: In the episode Bert and Danny are helping Jody move a couch into his new apartment. They take a break and Danny hands Bert a beer. Danny opens the beer while Bert is holding it and it sprays over the front of Bert's coveralls. A second later, in the next shot, the beer spray is gone.

Continuity: When Burt and Danny are fighting in the kitchen, they hit a pot holder on the fridge, which begins swinging. Mary enters and the pot holder stops swinging suddenly, in her close up.

Continuity: After Danny and Burt fight in the kitchen, Mary tells them to clean it up. When Burt puts a dish towel over his right shoulder, the dish towel disappears and reappears between shots.

Revealing: During the opening sequence of the second season of Soap, the families are having their picture taken when the roof collapses on them. Billy Crystal closes his eyes and keeps them closed before the roof falls, showing he knew what was about to happen.
